Hers an idea. How about you stop trying to change the game! Fix the bugs! Quit screwing around with how things are and be freakin happy that there are people playing the game because they liked how its running!!! Fix the GUNS they arent hitting even at optimum ranges and inadvertantly hitting at ranges over or under their falloffs with max damage. Thats a pretty big damn bug for little additions u guys made with this last "patch". Fix the problems u have.. the issues that keep the game from running smoothly!! Keep the blasted so called iprovments for your Shiva build.
Another thing. You keep trying to dig into our pockets to get more money for little "additions" that youve made to the game. How about you TEST those additions and implement them in Shiva. Box shiva and put it on the shelves!! You do that youll kick up your years profits so you can sit on your buts and do work you should be doing.. fixing bugs!
You keep screwing around with the game your gona be out a whole lot of money cuz us thousands who know how this game WAS will pack up and leave! And guess what... one spark can ignite a forest fire of destrustion. Think of how much damage thousands of unhappy ex Eve players can do to your profits!
This last patch you implemented.. god u guys really screwed the pooch. Heres my last idea for this forum. Roll back the game to build 1547 and just fix the bugs. The game was running great 2 days ago!!

Heres another, far better, idea.
Step away from the keyboard leave off the coffee and the high sugar concentrate food products and realise that EVE is a game and not Real life.
A few points from a player whos been with EVE for over a year and so used to this sort of thing.
1. Patches always go wrong.
2. Writing topics about it doesnt help.
3. The devs dont read these sorts of topics and so it is even more pointless.
4. Rants never work becuase people dont want to hear them
Your points about loads of people leaving isnt true. The large majority of EVE players will take a look at the new patch figure ways around the changes and adapt. While of course realising that a large patch like this generates lots of little bugs which will be fixed asap.
The small minority of players, like yourself, will rant and rave about points which mean very little and nobody really pays an awefull lot of attention to.
On your point about selling the expansion. How about no. CCP have maintained that all expansions are going to be free and the very idea of having a bought expansion in this game would cause far more people to leave than patches like the currrent one do.
Also roll backs **** people off more than bugged patches, due to the fact that most people get on with the game and deal with the bugs. Roll backs just desttor their accomplishments.
Remember its just a game.
You are not your ship.
Adapt or leave.

yeah patches go wrong, then they get fixed, the devs dont read this, and people dont want to listen to ranting, i read maby 6 or 7 sentances in yr post an knew exactly what the entire thing said, all you did was go over it alot, pointless, just sit tight man, things will be fine. jeez.

i think this patch is a joke i just would like to mention {i pay money to play this game} i payed money to play cus i liked the game now it sucks i loved cruising around shooting rats and stuff now i cant i am a paying customer why should i pay for this do we get any money back for the amount of time it is knackered, do i get money back for spending months training up gunnery that is now worthless do i get anything back????????????? i did not pay 30 pounds and 15 eu a month for this crap and a lot of peaple i know feel the same what the hell are u playing at u talk about make it more real its a game its not supposed to be real it supposed to be fun now its not i dont even feel like playing this game anymore because it is boring. i want my money back.i could of spent on something i do like.

30/12 = 0.4.
So thats 40p a day. So lets think the patch screwed say the game play wise for a full 24 hour period. So thats a whole 40pence which you could have spent on something else.
40p = a mars bar?
40 pennie sweets
a copy of ZOO.
And as for training something which is now useless. Get a life. I have Minmatar BS lvl5 (43 day train for lvl5. So about 60 days from 0-5. PLus of course every gunnery skill to lvl5. With large proj almost at lvl5. Im not ranting. Im simply looking over the patch and thinking over new loadouts. I'm also paying for this and I dont mind.
Try some 800's or dual 425's on BS, or other auto canon carients for cruisers etc.

can u read can u do maths??? < did not pay 30 pounds and 15 eu a month { 30 pounds = the cost of the game }when u buy it doh and 15 eu is what u pay a month my god some peaple are just plain stupid and i repeat when i posted here i did put <I think this game sucks now> and i am more than sure it has not been right for longer than a couple of patch days.

Noone is forcing you to play this game or put up with the way its run. If you dont like it leave, otherwise shut up and deal with it.
Ranting and raving on a forum isnt going to solve anything. Well structured and well written posts explaining points and reports sent to the devs via the ingame method are far more effective.

Andrew Jade.. I think youv got your eye blinded man.. Ive been in this game for more than a year. So i know what I am talking about and asking. the bit about players leaving was more a threat to the powers that be to kick thier heads into gear and realize they are screwing around with a game that gained its following from the facets it HAD. But more and more the game is being changed.. no fixed.. Oh sure they may make a few fixes here and there but then they come out with Improvments to the game that present even more bugs and the game is morfed into a little difrent form than what it was. Ive been quietly sitting on the sidelines and hopeing CCP would just let a fun game stay the way it is. But this last patch has implemented such big changes that I had had enough I had to say something in the hopes it would reach the apropriate listening ear. This wasnt a rant topic. This is an honest complaint from a paying and playing costomer who found allot of fun in the game. Now he is questioning wether its worth the time to even loging on cuz things have been added AND taken away in the name of game balance. And Im sorry if u think CCP isnt operating this game to make money than your more a fool than youv already shown yourself to be. They are charging us $10 USD to change our portraits. Something so insignificant as the picture u and i display to eachotehr in the game. This isnt a name change (witch is an important game modification) its a damn picture. Something as simple as a picture cange tells me more than i need to know about what it on CCP's agenda and what they only care about. Money.
Your right about one thing though.. CCP nor it Dev's care to read anything in the forums. I had hoped if i put something in the idea box it may have got their attention, yet all i get is some guy who tells me not to be so serious about a game Ive payed for and continued to pay for through all other kinds of patch snafoos. Do u understand me now? Iv had enough of CCP's unprofesionalism. Maybee this is too big a concept for u to understand. Its not that Im unbalanced either. I know what I payed for. But with current changes and continued changes to the games structure while bugs continue to run rampant with no show of adressing player input good or bad strikes me even further to conclude this game is being made up to atract quik buyers and not long lasting players. But its how you make money, and gread is a powerfull foe to fight against.. especially when all u want to do is have fun. Fighting for the game to be fixed or even having to take the time to express my dis-satisfaction in the game robs me of the fun I once got from the game.

Explain to me why I've shown myself to be stupid. Im stupid becuase I stand by the game and the developers while you slag them off. I understand why your writing what you have but the simple fact remains, that its your choice to continue paying.

Again its your choice. Noone 'robbed' you of the time it took you to write all this.
Call me a fool if you want, like it bothers me, though I'll defend the devs and the game becuase I choose to continue paying and when CCP do something which makes me angry enough to quit, I'll do so. I wont write some thread up which serves no purpous other than to cause arguments.

Of course they are, the're a professional company. And since when has $10 been a lot of money. Thats about what ú7. Like an hours wages for a shop assistant. Your talking as if your spending masses of money on this game when in fact its nothing.

I agree for the most part with the first post. I think CCP whould get there priorities right. The avereage customer off EVE wants these things in order of importance:
1) All the bugs in the current game removed (I know its almost impossible but you can get all the major ones) it very annoying to have your play interupted by the fact that you have been stuck on a roid severall miles away or to find that those items you dragged into your cargo hold havent acctually appeared there when you undock.
2)Features that acctualy help you play: like some basic pathfinding for ships or some audio warning when a dangerous play warps in.
3)More game content. This is least important. People are pretty happy (bar the bugs) with the way the game is now. They dont want CCP accidently screwing it up. IMO new content should be restricted to (well tested) free expansions like shiva.
