I've just climbed into a Paladin which will replace my Abaddon as my mission running ship, the Abaddon will now become a PvP ship. I need some advice please on mission running setups for the Paladin and PvP setups for the Abaddon.
When I tried to fit the same mission running setup I use on my abaddon on to the Paladin it didnt work to well...
My abaddon mission running setup was
8 x Mega Pulse II
3 x Cap Recharge II 1 x Tracking Comp II
1 x LAR II 2 x Active hardeners (mission specific) 1 x Energized Adaptive Nano II 1 x Cap Relay II 2 x Heat Sink II
5 x Hammerhead II
2 x CCC I 1 x Aux Nano
This is what i tried last night on the Pally, dont laugh to hard as I'm new to this ship ;)
4 x Mega Pulse II 2 x Tractor 1 x Salvager
3 x Cap Recharge II 1 x Tracking Comp II
1 x LAR II 2 x Active hardeners (mission specific) 1 x Energized Adaptive Nano II 1 x Cap Relay II 2 x Heat Sink II

2 x CCC I
It was great on cap but omg do i miss the extra resists on the abaddon, the pally tank was fail.
So yep, adivce please on Mission running pally's and PvP abaddons.

4 Tachyons instead of Pulse. Tank is fine, switch out the CPR for 3x HS. Drop a CCC rig for an Aux Nano Pump to work with its rep bonus. Can even switch out the cap recharger for a web / sensor booster / extra TC as cap is fine...up to you.
You need marauders to 4 minimum preferably 5 to take advantage of the ships bonuses and also use the tachyons range for distance tanking, know what to shoot first and you will have no troubles.

But since Paladin has rep bonus you might want to swap 1 hardener for another HS II or maybe LAR. Not sure how it works out, as I havent flown paladin yet
Tanks all missions if you do it right. Although you might get a bit of trouble in WC mission with angels.

Abaddon is one of my favourates, here is what I used to put on mine.
3x trimark armor pump I
6x Mega Pulse Laser II 2x Tachyon Beam laser II
1x Heavy Cap Booster II 1x Warp Disruptor 1x 100mn AB II (would be a MWD but it doesn fit.)
2x 1600mm RTP 1x DC II 2x EANM II 2x HS II
All adds up to about 1k DPS with 170k EHP
Or, for a lot more tank and speed but with a bit less gank
3x Trimarks
8x Mega Pulse Laser II
1x Web II 1x Disruptor II 1x 100mn MWD II 1x Heavy Cap Booster II
3x 1600mm RTP 2x EANM II 1x DC II 1x HS II
Works out at 800dps with 200k effective. Also a MWD which lets you get about much easier.
Both require CPU implants to use.

for paladin, i use serp web with 13km range and amarr large armor rep which gives me 1609 repair per cycle. no waisted low slots because it's easier to fit with tachyons. Use amarr multispecs, tracking comp, 2 cap rechargers

My Pve Pally;
4x tachys 3x whatever the hell you want.
3x cap rechargers 1x 14km or better web (yes you need the 14km one)
1x Amarr navy LAR (you have the lp i hope) 3x hardeners 3x heat sinks
2x CCC
Your biggist tank here is your pewpew... something silly like 700 effective dps out to 40km... only 600 out to 50km if i remember right. You will be cutting through other battleships like they are paper, and you will be repairing at least 1200 per cycle.
Optional: 5% rep amount/time implants (slot 7?) 5% large weapon damage (slot 10 i think lol) 5% turret RoF(no clue, id have to check my notes) 5% optimal (again, no clue)
