Joshua: First off, regarding your claim that we're being arrogant... I don't see Monkey pilots trying to estabilish themselves as forum alpha-males like you desperately seem to try with each post, in fact I do believe I refer to our people "fairly new" in an earlier post describing our limitations to a possible client. I didn't start this thread, and I certainly don't need some self-declared internet celebrity of the forums descending here and posting about what he sees as unsuitable attitude. I don't know you, you're nobody to me, and I don't care for your opinions on our attitude.
According to your ilk, everyone we manage to defeat must have been incompetent, for that is surely the only way we could have won. Frankly I find that insulting, and I tend to remember insults coming from people I don't know or care for - if you don't want to make an enemy with your words, you'll go file your nails elsewhere.
As for our cost-to-profit ratio, in the past war we've lost 10 frigates, one interceptor, and had one pilot podded. In return we're making our war fee stated above, plus five million per pilot podded - we've inflicted losses of 7 cruisers, 15 frigates, 3 industrials, and 14 pilots podded, of whom at least three have been confirmed to posess full implant sets. We fight affordably above all, enjoying cheap and mobile ships over clumsy battleship blockades like Veratech attempted throwing at us a number of times to no effect.

Well, you have to admit the Black Monkeys are among the deadliest, most efficient corporations to appear in EVE since Medusa.
And if you people read player-made news sites perhaps you'd also be more alert to such corporations. But you don't, as all these posts show. |
