Firstly i'd like to say that i don't know if anyone thought of this before but sorry if i've accidentley coppied someones idea. anyways
1) i'd really like to see a way of installing whole set ups in on a bare ship. You could call them "installaion packages" or just set-ups or whatever. they could be single items with multiple items inside them like escrow packages, you could then chose to install the whole set up in one click. so now you could have say a mining set up, a pvnpc, pvp and install them for whatever circumstance with one click.
2) second idea is a place where people could go blow each other up with no re-percussions i.e. we could go into a special station and perhaps it would have a simulator facility where people could have virtual battles and stuff.
just my little ideas Random Heroes

1) now that's just lazy. keep your setups in seperate containers, then.
2) it's called Chaos. |

i like idea 1 alot, it can be a pain to switch between mining lasers and all the crap you need for that sort of ops, to your pve setup etc. nr. 2 I like that one to, would be really cool to have some sort of "virtual reality" ingame were you could practise battles with your corp mates etc without having your bs's blown to pieces. And no, chaos is not intended to be your own personal little loadout simulator, it's a bug server were you can test and find bugs etc....

1. I have several ships of the same type. All loaded out for various configurations : Miner, fighter, recon.
I don't do the empty slots thing. I just switch ships.
yes its $$$$. But the time you save pays for it.
2. Simulator in an eve station??? No offense...eve is a
simulation. What we need at stations are...personal
services. come on...after long day of travel....
pilots need some....attention. [ take that any way you
want ] .

Idea 1 is GREAT!
I would like to see an option in fitting that allows you to store a set up... this would create a package that sits in your hanger, all you have to do is open fitting and install package. The package can be broken/opened thereby causing the package no longer to be able to be installed.
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |

Idea 1 is great. I doubt it will be implement as it's likely a pain in the neck to program. Add to it that while alot of people tend to function from out of a few stations that is by no means the norm. (I never know what station I'll end up in at night - so to speak).
I've always expressed a love for something along those lines though. Ideally a "strip ship" button. What I find most irritating is having to drag everything off to load everything on again. And for the most part when all of us change configs it is likely only one or two mods that we keep on. The rest is entirely different.
Again by no means the norm but "Strip all" works. Of course you can simply repackage and reassemble the ship but that's not always possible. Eve Guardian - Former Reporter
