sniper does not continue for ever or does it ?
Auction ended at 19.00 so snipers wont start again after that
the last time before the auction finishes is where the sniper begins. Am I mistaken?

My understanding of the sniper rule is that, if someone bids at 1829, the auction will actually end at 19:01 (30min extension).
If someone bids at 1859, the auction will end at 1929. If someone THEN bids at 1928, the auction would end at 1958 (ad nausium).
We' like confirmation from the seller on this, either way, and if this is the case / I have understood it correctly we'd like confirmation of acceptance of our buy out.

heh yeah. According to your logic I won. If you consider the 19:17 bid legimate I still bidded at the same time (19:17)

My understanding was that if a bid was placed at for instance 18:45 the sniper is in effect and a competitor has the chance to counter in that 30 minutes (suppose that happens at 19:14) which will reset the sniper until one bid is placed which remains the highest offer for 30 minutes after which the auction is closed.
With this in mind I placed the sniper rule. and therefore I would say the buyout is a valid offer.
