Hi all, just wondering if anyone can suggest a ship that can fully tank the varying degrees of difficulty in exploration complexes? I can fly most t2 ships. I was thinking of a nighthawk (cs 5). Most of the plexes will be EM/Therm

Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II Photon Scattering Field II Photon Scattering Field II Invulnerability Field II

Core Defence Field Purger I Core Defence Field Purger I
Warrior II x5
How would that fair against the average complex (~10 bs, 6 or 7 small ships) or can someone suggest a better ship for this role?
Note: i know it would be easier with logistics, but sometimes its not possible

Just FYI, in blood plexes your hardeners won't work too good due to cap neuting NPCs.
Also shield tanking non minmatar t2 ship vs EM/Th is kinda weird.
Also best plex tankers are HICtors (yes lol) due to better sig/hp/resists than CS.

This makes no sense. Hes using photon, em only, which is against sansha rats which shoot em. The invul is to buff those already nice therm resists, add a wee bit more em and help agaisnt any kind of holes that may come up if your caught by a gang, to help you last a little longer to ask for help.. And anyway caldari ships always need to tank EM as its their weakest resist (before explo).

He never wrote nothing about Sasha. If he fight sasha then the setup is OK, but if he fight Blood Raiders ( em/themrm) then the setup is not ok. The problem reside on the active hardenersbecause blood raiders will neut you to "0" cap.
Solution: Passive hardeners, t2 or faction. make sure your tanking works even with no cap.
