Hi, this is my second EVE story... I hoep you enjoy it the dramatisation!
WhoÆs the More Foolish? The Fool Or The Fool Who Follows Him?
RashmikaÆs Kronos warped to the coordinates supplied by the Federation Navy Command agent. It was a simple job, nothing Rashmika hadnÆt done before. Rough over some religious nutjobs for the Federation. Easy ISK.
Ships were sundered; Rashmika mocked their pitiful attempts to deal harm. Truly, GodÆs chosen people arenÆt that chosen afterall.
RashmikaÆs reverie was interrupted by a sensor alert, the console squawked its information at the Kronos' pilot. A cruiser flagged as belonging to a Caldari Research Corporation had rolled into RashmikaÆs mission. Rashmika was now taking fire from just one battleship and had been salvaging as he went so there were no other wrecks about. Rashmika guessed what this villain desired, and those thoughts were confirmed when he started heading towards the battleship, in RashmikaÆs opinion to grab the wreck as soon as it reduced to its composite components.
Slightly unimpressed, Rashmika pulled her sensors up to full, flooding the area and alerting the remaining nutjobs. Rashmika jumped and hoped the Cruiser would enjoy the show.
ô**** you.ö Rashmika thought.
Rashmika warped back and checked the scanner. There was nothing but wrecks beyond the acceleration gate. No other capsuleers so Rashmika assumed he had made it out.
Rashmika had assumed correctly.
The mission was resumed, flushed with apparent success Rashmika tore through the remaining ships. Suddenly, the capsuleer appeared on RashmikaÆs sensors again. This time he flipped a can... he went flashy, and Rashmika literally saw red.
"What the hell, he's in a cruiser; I can take him!" Rashmika exclaimed.
Rashmika locked and engaged.
Worst... mistake... ever.
Instantly, the capsuleer started warp scrambling the Kronos.
"Uh oh." Rashmika said. "This isn't good..."
The KronosÆ energy reserves started to shrink at a very alarming rate, to compliment the drain, a flight of tech two hobgoblins joined the affray. Still, a Kronos can take a tech one cruiser. Right?
Then a logistics ship warped in. RashmikaÆs heart sank; there was no way a Kronos could tank anything with zero cap and the agressor being remotely repaired. Rashmika did the only thing he could. He called the WWAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHMMMMMBULANCE.
"**** **** ****! Please I need urgent help in Dodixie now or I am going to lose my ship!" Rashmika bellowed in Corp chat.
The sleeping behemoth awoke... opened up one lazy eye...
"4j out!" Ossy said.
"7j out, omw Rash!" Enzy cried.
"I'm close, do you need me?" Mikka reported.
Rashmika jumped on the tech two drones to reduce the incoming fire, would it make a difference?
"I'll swap and get my Domi, it's got some remote repper drones." Tubgirl shouted.
Rashmika replied "I need some 800 cap boosters... the 400 hundreds are useless due to the energy neuts."
Yes indeed... the true nature of RashmikaÆs folly. The Amarr Navy Large Armour Repairer requires 450 units of energy to activate; the standard tech two requires just 400. Rashmika was injecting 400's with no effect, as the cap could not regenerate above 450 for Rashmika to pulse a cycle. In this most dire of times Rashmika possibly got two repair cycles off in around 20 charges.
This was bad... Fortunately Tubgirl had undocked and started to warp to Rashmika, whom by now had great streaks of fire trailing from the critically wounded Kronos. Precious atmosphere and personnel were being sucked out into the hungy maw... which was quite possibly the fate of Rashmika too.
Tubgirl had arrived in the Deadspace pocket. The Kronos was hovering on around 11% hull, with a huge sigh Rashmika managed to inject a charge inbetween his opponents Neutraliser cycle. The Repairer groaned agonisingly into life as countless hordes of nanites buzzed around the dying ship, trying to repair what they could before they expired.

Edited by: Rashmika Clavain on 22/09/2008 10:36:21 "Hon, I ****ing need those remote rep drones right now."
"I'm 76km out, they're on their way."
The Dominix dropped five medium Armour Repair Drones... They screamed towards the Kronos, covering the distance with the lithe ease of a hungry panther. With a grateful sigh, Rashmika observed the thin slithers of armour becoming thicker. Slowly though, ever so slowly, damage was still leaking through and now the hull was down to 6%. Klaxons screaming their distress at the situation were now starting to fail as internal systems went offline... to compound this situation Rashmika's dinner was going cold. However, not to be cheated out of their prey, the pirates turned their attention to the repair drones.
"Hon, they're targeting the drones, get them docked."
"Recalling...!" Responded Tubgirl.
"I'll head towards you." Rashmika said.
The Kronos turned towards the approaching Dominix, hoping to reduce the distance the drones travel in order to preserve the precious commodity for as long as possible; however, the drones were unable to take the firepower brought ot bear against them and two winked out of existence. Three repair drones were not going to keep the Kronos going, but they would make the dance last one more round. Besides, Rashmika knew the Dominix had something that would help save the day.
"I'm in range Tubgirl, push a can out!" Rashmika cried.
Defying all the known laws of physics, possibly owing more to Terence ****s than anything else, an impossibley small Cargo Container assembled itself in space with a ridicously large capacity.
"Thanks hon!"
Rashmika headed towards the can, hoping the pirates would not beat him to it. The contents were scooped into the Kronos' cargo hold. 800 Cap Booster Charges were soon sliding down the remaining automatic loading mechanisms into the injectors.
"****ING COME ON!" Rashmika screamed.
Hull... 1% Armour... 1%
Suddenly the capacitor sprang into life... although it was instantly neutralised, the pirates could not wipe the entire reserve. The Armour repairer gurgled into life, enhanced faction nanites recovering a swathe of the Marauders armour.
Ossy piped up "I'm in system, fleet me."
A Raven screamed into the fight. Targets were locked, repair drones were recalled; battle was now joined. Missle, Rail and Drone vented their fury on the pirate cruiser, yet the remote repair was too powerful to be broken.
"Switch to the repper." Ossy ordered.
Large turrets limped round and the Kronos fired on the uproll; Gun Captains roaring their approval, urging their subordinates to greater endeavour. Drones hurtled towards their new victim as missle detonations erupted around the Logistics ship.
"Get a point on that ****ing ****!" Rashmika screamed, vitriol oozing from the gaping wounds in the Kronos' flanks.
The Logistics shields winked out, the armour sheared off into the void. Would the pilot stay in the hope of taking the Kronos down? They must have thought they were close, and indeed they had been close. Rashmika imagined their heads giddy with the thrill this killmail would bring, they held their positions.
The last of the Logistics shipÆs armour fled for a better life, and the pirates swiftly followed. The Logistics ship leapt into warp like a whipped cur. His compatriot followed promptly.

Edited by: Rashmika Clavain on 22/09/2008 13:54:34 Thanks for taking the time to read it. I've corrected a couple of grammar mistakes (although i am sure there are more!), and the gender issues I appeared to have
It was an amazingly tense thirty minutes, kudos to the cruiser and logistics on a near perfectly executed scam Removed. Please keep your EVE signature related to your EVE persona and not that of a real life politician. Navigator |

Nice story! It was very entertaining, it would have been a little better of a read if it were written in the first person tho. The repetitive use of your name became kind of monotonous. But all in all, a very good read for C+P I would love to see more posts like it!
