With the relevant skill at 5 does using nanite repair paste (at 11,700 isk per unit) work out to be more cost effective than using station repair facilities?
As far as I can work out 1% module damage requires 1 unit of paste to repair, wheres with station facilities the repair cost scales with the size and tech level of the module in question.
Any maths bods out there who can figure it out?

That's really not its purpose, its for repairing when roaming in hostile space when you can't dock or even leave the system you're safed up in, then its abilities become priceless.

This is wrong... nanite also gets consumed more or less depending on mineral cost of module afaik
like, repairing a 10mn mwd II at 75% damage may cost like 20 paste, only 4-7 for a 75% t2 webbber

If you can get into a station it is far more cost effective to fit a Hull &/or Armor repair mods undock and use them for the repair than to make use of station services or Nanite Paste. |

I don't think you know what you're talking about.

nanite paste never was nor it it EVER intended to replace or to be used in place of station repair facilities.
It's for use in EMERGENCIES, when you're out in places where you cannot get to station facilities, and need that module repaired NOW. Like during a lull in a fleet battle, or such. It'll repair your module so that you don't have to leave the area, at a very high cost.
It's usage DOES scale with amount of damage and module type, as well. Don't be fooled.
Sum total, no, it doesn't replace station facilities. Use it for emergencies only.

No-one has actually answered the OP's question, so I will try rephrasing it and seeing if that helps; they want to know the ISK cost per HP repaired of repairing modules in a station, and repairing modules using nanite repair paste with skill maxed.
FRom this we will all know whether if the skill is trained to 5, having lots of nanite repair paste is equivalent in isk cost to just docking and repping (apart from the cargo bay aspect).

I've been meaning to do that to see wether it's worth training up higher when I have training time to spare - you're definitely asking a good question. But no, haven't done the math, so.
