So, how much longer do you think the "jacked" prices will last?
And, give a real answer...Not just as long as people will pay the price...kinda of cop out...

They are allready down considerably. Ppl need their cashflow, so they will undercut themselves again.

Its kind of easy...
Ninja miner's seems to be in a lot more trouble because of new "ELITE" npc rats that can get to them and scramble them before they are able to run.
Then, there is a NPC's at the gates in 0.0, not the most nice ones either. Hauling ore/mins really require a escort. (more work involved get the mins to market)...
Add it all up and you see price increase...
Oh... also add the nerf of large guns/battleships means more protection needed for bigger mining ops as well..
Blame ccp if you want to blame anyone for high prices, or go mine your own mega/zyd.

I noticed some people in trade channel asking prices that I consider quite over the odds for these two very minerals. Perhaps mining operations have become harder, ship loss, time to market, whatever means to keep the same income as before prices might rise...but as a builder, Zyd at 4k , and Meg at 8k is pretty much the highest reasonable price before it becomes cheaper to buy products from NPCs. If noone buys any, sellers don't make anything.

Supply and demand people, once again, the prices are what they are. Without the poor, there can be no rich, just as with increased trouble to obtain good, the sale price also tends to go up.
Same as whining why oil costs almost 40 dollars a barrel. Use less of it if it is not worth the cost, and prices will go down naturally (due to decreased demand) -Freedom, Peace and Prosperity. |
