Like everyone here, i was both hesistant and excited about the new Ship Models CCP were selling. Both the sticking point was the fact that the price seemed a bit steep (but not so much so in comparison to other models like Auto Art). So i finally took the plunge and bought the megathron model before the discount date. It has finally arrived and i am ABSOLUTELY in love with it. I cant wait to bring it into class tommorow and put it on my desk (eagerly awaiting my students inquiries as to what it is, hoping to convert a few to the word of eve).
My question would be, is there any plans for coming out with frig/destroyer/cruiser/bc models in the future? and would it be in the same scale. Im just thinking now how cool it would be to have my megathron escorted by a few celestis, thoraxes and maybe some ishkurs :D (maybe even a thantos for a pirate low sec gate camp!)
Or better yet, maybe coming together as a corp/alliance using hte models on a planned out battlefield, going through battle plans or simulations.

Would have to be scale. My pocket book is open for the option of a half dozen tiny maledictions.

^ only if they include your typical turret setup. This especially changes the way frigs look.
For example, I wouldn't want to buy a Taranis model without it's guns fitted; it would look naked. :S

As far as the models, I'm waiting for the pirate faction battleships. I want a machariel model, dammit.

Although frigate models scaled to the BS models would be cool, they would be TINY. Like only a few centimeters, 2 or 3 maybe? ;)
Don't know if such tiny models would be very cool, really.

The thorax would need to be at least 6 inches, otherwise customer might not be as satisfied as OP.

Though slightly unrelated, my only frustration is their new shop/business/delivery model going through FedEx (and cutting a long story short) now means instead of going to my local post-office to pick up my delivery of EVE merch, I have to go all the way to the damned airport  (which takes 12 times longer, 5 minute round trip compared to a 1 hour round trip).
That and FedEx costs my left leg in international shipping costs,,,

Congrats to the OP!
You know what would be great?
That CCP included an in-game ship with every model. I mean, buy a Megathron model, get one Megathrone in-game.
