So what are hisec pubbies and other mega supposed to do during those two weeks of complete blackout.

High sec band together and fight back.
There are a fare few large corps and alliances that choose to live in high sec. If you rattle the cage you wake the bear ,goons would do well to keep that in mind.

Generic doesn't there need to be oxygen for things to burn? So if simply noone transports Oxygen it should be fine right?

Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank the Goons for forcing the High-sec Gank issue. I've been in the anti-gank party for a long time now, and they are doing more for my position that i could ever hope to achieve. I'm not a carebear, but have always strongly believed that eve should have a safe area of space for new players, and players that enjoy eve for all the non-pvp aspects. PvP has for too long been forced unwillingly upon these players.
Every freighter and hauler you gank in and around Jita brings us one step closer to the end of ganking for all of time.
