With this 10,000 votes nonense..... seriously 8000 goons + alts doesnt mean the rest of eve voted for MIttani, your own power bloc voting did this.. So stop now!... its sounding almost desperate and as much cringeworthy and embarrassing as Mittani's alliance panel fubar..

Althought im member of TEST alliance,i wasnt at the time the elections took place,but to your surprise i still voted to mittani,and to your further surprise i know many people who did the same and i am pretty sure that many of them should be offended if you call them goons alts.
And yeah,rest of eve didnt voted for mittani,most of eve playrs didnt voted at all and by this decision they showed that they dont give a **** about this game and we who care (and who are most common group of players who care)feel that ccp is showing us that they dont count with us in their "bright future of eve" |

By the way, that's the number of accounts less than 250 days old that were used for voting. You cannot vote unless your account is at least 30 days old.
That also does not mean that all 8,447 of those votes went to The Mittani. Though I guess it's perfectly rational to say that the least "legitimate" votes went to the candidate you most dislike? |

I love how now the Goons don't have their member on board, the CSM should disband. Last years CSM elections had roughly the same turn out if you remove the 10058 wasted votes, should all records of that be scrubbed as well because it must have been a waste of time for all involved?

No doubt there were a fair amount of young alts, and no doubt SA forums recruitment drive helped the goon case, you can't just discount all votes under 250 days of age.
Your statement would require every account in the last 2/3 of a year to be a new goon alt, which is not bloody likely.
That said, I don't support a new election, this kind of thing happens, there are clear cut ways of dealing with it. I can't imagine goons supporting a new election if any of the other candidates had gotten banned.

Just expand your data set so you can interpolate.
200 can get you xenuria. Seems you have a nice lower bound there (well you can get close to 0 but that's silly).
1000 would be about 9/10s Xenuria if it was linear. Unlikely though.

I voted for the Mittani. I voted for him for two reasons, because he would have been good for the game, (I suppose you're going to call me a Goon alt, and frankly I don't care what you think.) and because you would have raged impotently on the forums.

I am... Well, that's not really important. What is important is that I am not a Goon or a member of TEST, & I am also not an alt of one. What is also important is that I voted for Mittens.
'Why?' you may ask; Because his views on EVE represented what I want from the game.
I would vote for him again given the chance, or anyone else that represents what I want from this game.

Voting 101:
Goonswarm Federation: 8431 members (lets pretend half of that are inactive)
Test Alliance Please Ignore: 6380 (lets pretend half of these are too stupid to find the vote button)
14811 combined accounts in these two alliances alone.....
7405.5 is the above number cut in half, at this point we can guess this is the amount of active player base.
Lets pretend that 2653 votes are needed to achieve the golden number....
Lets also pretend that non goon alts voted (omigod they have other supporters!)..... Lets make this number 1000 for shivers n wiggles..
1653 votes left unaccounted for....... Oh look, we have more than one account, lets vote on it! We could also get our other supporters who have more than one account to vote....
