Okay, are there any advantages to using a providence over another freighter.
I've noticed that the charon has the most cargo capacity.
The fenir has the best align time.
But I can't find anything that makes the providence stand out. I am missing something?

It will prove invaluable should the need arise to evacuate Hoth.

It's a giant Slug. Everyone knows the Charon is the sexiest freighter.
The best too.

Its the sexyest and has the most buffer. . .not that it matters - but - I know a few people that had theirs saved because of RR. . .
overall -
Obolisks/Anshars are the most common freighter - so a lot of corps will own one and share it. If you want a degree of universality, then Gallente.
Charon/Rhea have the most cargo, but its not enough to justify training caldari industrial and caldari freighter up again
Providence/Arc - sexyest and I know a lot of Obolisk pilots who trained Amarr because they hate the way the Obolisk looked and decided 'if I'm going to train industry again, then I want to fly the best looking one'.
Fenrir/Nomad - align time is nice. . .but to a limit.

The provy actually has a face if you look at it from a slight bottom angle from the front.
Also, back when carriers could haul transports filled with whatever, a lot of our carrier pilots trained amarr industrial 5 because an impel and a prorator fit perfectly inside a carriers ship bay. Also, before rigs, the impel was the highest capacity sub-capital hauler. As a result, we ended up with a lot of pilots that could fly a providence. As a result, we ended up with 4 shared providences that half our corp could fly.
