From tomorrow's patch notes: "The star map popup button (for switching between system, solarsystem and starmap) will now relocate surrounding windows correctly."
Uh... I don't know about CCP, but I think a popup thingy relocating surrounding windows is a bug, not a fix or a feature. Players are just about fed up with the user interface windows traveling all over the place whenever we make the ghastly mistake of daring to open a window on it, and now you're actually adding another such "feature"?
Why are you adding a bug, and listing it as a fix? |

The star map popup button, is a button, that can get lost off screen depending on certain window placements, this fix will make sure the star map popup button will always be seen.

"After reports of people being fed up with getting taken from behind by the nerfbat in a nasty and painful manner we're proud to announce that we solved the problem; we have changed the angle at which the nerfbat enters your back orifice somewhat, as to make rear entry slightly less discomforting.
We do hope that this change is met with agreement, it was easier for us to fiddle with the effects rather than tackle the actual problem."

I'd rather charge blindfolded into 0.0 armor-tanking with my genitalia than let CCP define one more window placement on my UI.
It's already a mess. Stirring a mess does not un-mess it, it just messes it more.

Would it be weird if when ambulation comes out. We could rub our avatars bald heads together?

actually, for a sufficiently messy mess, stirring will have no effect
you can only mess things that are unmessy.

Tomorrow: The star map was not causing windows to randomly reposition themselves. This is not intended and has been fixed.
Later: The dev responsible for the UI has mysteriously vanished and his job has been taken over by interns. As a precautionary measure, all window snapping and automatic repositioning has been disabled until further notice. |

Ahh, but if the mess is ultimately messy, stirring can only make it less messy.

Ah, but then it's not a mess, it's a homogenous mixture.
