lol, it's been like 3 hours since you posted the exact same thing as oh I don't know 50 or so other people in various threads all over these forums, and you're concerned that no actual dev ( which wouldn't happen period in any other game ) has replied to your particulair concern yet. Things don't work like that. Read this thread completely and you'll get some answers other then that you're forced to do the rest as most of us. Get a setup that works right now, and wait how the tweaks work out. ( But I wouldn't count on a mayor overhaul again )

Yeh I got a setup that works...called frigate..why did I waste all this time training large turrets and others when there is no tactical advantage anymore. If they don't rehaul this lots of players or going to leave.
And thanks for the sarcastic comment about posting in the right forum...still haven't heard a logical reason from anyone why large turrest should have problems hitting a small target at rest.........anyone...anyone...beuller...bueller...

There are other options then getting into a frigate, experiment more, you didn't come up with your old battleship setup in 30 minutes did you? I have no problems downing frigates whatsoever in my battleship.
Your welcome about the sarcastic comment, which wasn't actually sarcastic, geez people should lighten up a little, nothing we say or do here will end the world. The reason is quite simple, battleships shouldn't not be the end all do all end game ship, it makes for a boring game. A reason that might work for you, you're trying to hit a fly with a building sized turret which uses big cars as ammo.
I actually spent a long time on a load out that works for my BS, I guess I am just expressing a long line of frustrations that I have had with the new patch....What further aggrivates it is that I am not sure anyone at CCP cares.
I guess running three warp stabs is the only option for a BS which is enough to either run a weak weapon rig with target and damage assists, or not.
The other frustrating thing is ok....I rig my ship now..but all the turret computations are in flux, so all testing I do now is eradicated by the next hotfix......
I still think the result is my interceptor or frigate will be a hell of a lot more fun to fly than a bs...and is that something we want in this game?

Yeah, given the changes to turrets and supposed tweaks to come, the game came to a standstill now. Should I but more named rails? Sell the ones I have? Train missiles? Who the heck knows?
My megathron along with 3m of combat-turret-gallente combat skills are idle now and will be for a while.

I turned my tempest into a missile boat. Forget Projectiles, there as good as worthless now.

Aside from the whole optimal and what turrets are supposed to be able to do discussions, them graphs are plain wrong indeed.
I will hit for most damage when about 10km ABOVE the optimal+falloff anytime. I am using plutonium ammo (second shortest range one) at fecking 95+km and hitting for 600+ wreckings. Now at 60km (optimal) I hit for **** against NPC BS with a <10m/sec transversal speed.
This is one helluva dissapointing post by Tomb which again shows HOW DAMN LITTLE TESTING IS ACTUALLY BEING DONE BY CCP _______________________________________________

yup links broken....and nothing in the archive dev blog either - all graphs seems to have mysteriously vanished.
This could obviously be a very simple mistake, or a cover up for broken 'balance'. Either way it doesnt inspire confidence
