September Statement (millions ISK unless stated)
Ship Sales = 15,380 Profit = 1,456 Management Fee = 436 Net Profit = 1020 Dividends Paid = 1020 ROI = 6.37%
Comments
1. Unless a major nerf / disaster happens expect current ROI to continue at present levels 2. In November / December some RL changes may occur which MAY limit actual EVE time. In which case I will choose to make a full buyback at 100% rather than stop for a few payments and generally dangle in the wind. I don't like business's that leave the shareholders high and dry. I will update nearer the time.

Keep up the good work and thanks!
Hopefully you can keep it going as I would hate to have to battle for shares in any future IPO if this one pays out/shuts down!

Thanks, cosmoray!
I am a satisfied investor, but I would welcome some official management comment on not quite meeting the target ROI cited in the prospectus ("expected to be in the range of 6.5-8.5% ROI"; I do realise that is an estimate, not a guarantee), as Bad Bobby asked in the August Report thread. (I also didn't see this addressed in the July Report, where there was an uptick in optimism, or the June Report.)
- Why is the original target range slightly out of grasp? Just a bit more competition than expected retailing, or what?
- Based on what you know now, what is the going-forward expected range? Is it fair to lower it to 5.5%-7.5%?
- What corporate buyback, if any, is currently in place, to give me a sense of what premium I might have to bid on shares from someone who wanted to sell? Has the 110% buyback, described in the July Report, expired?

Answers:
1. The profit on some BS's have dropped slightly since operations started which is the reason for the current ROI. 2. As stated in my comments above I expect ROI to be consistently in the 6% range (6-7), unless some major changes occur. 3. I did offer to buy back upto 4000 shares, I ended up buying 3100 shares at 110%. So I am happy to buy upto 900 shares. The only gaurantee I will make going forward is to buy the business out at 100% of purchase price.

If anyone wants to sell shares I'll be more than willing to negotiate a purchase. |
