Hey ho, I've just gone through a 7 day trial for EVE online and I am pretty sure I'm going to order a month or so subscription and continue playing.
However there is a slight twist to my gaming experience. I currently do a comic strip (which is in limbo for the time being) and I found EVE to give me some inspiration for an EVE comic. Now, considering the fact that I know squat all about the game; I'm planning to do the comic as a kind of journal from the start. It's not entirely parallel as there needs to be room for humour, heh. Anyway, have a peek at the pilot/first strip and have a poke.

Mmm, cream buns...that's serious business :)
Make an actual site that I (and others that enjoy game-based comics) can bookmark please :)
And definitely check out Winterblink's site. Or don't, if you think you might get "polluted" by ideas :D Artistic integrity is important too ...

I think it's very good.
I think I'll enjoy both yours and Winterblinks comics.

Yep, if you're going to make a serious go of it, put up a site. Word of warning though: that will commit you to the thing more than you probably will anticipate. Trust me, I know. :) But it's all good!

Hey, that's pretty good. I expected it to look terrible, but it's pretty darn good. if you decide to do it regularly, I'll defiantely read it.

Why the competition? Combine your efforts and put them on one site..... They can co-exist ery well, they're slightly different in style and atmosphere.

Nobody's feeling threatened here, and it's not like we're *competing* with each other. Personally I do what I do just for the pure enjoyment of it, the fact that anyone else enjoys it with me is icing on the cake. :) I love this game, and returning something to its community is my way of tipping the hat, so to speak.

Are you guys willing to take a sponsorship to a comic? E.g. I pay you some ISK and you make a funny comic about Joshua getting podded while spamming the official forums (not the best idea, I know  ). Would that be possible?

LOL, well at one point the idea was presented to me about corp ads on the site for a certain amount of isk per week, that sort of thing. I'm not entirely opposed to it, but I think I'll wait until I finish the redesign of the site before offering it.

One more bump just to say there's a new comic. I'm not going to bump or post every time there is from now on. I don't think it will be daily, but more ever couple of days as I have work etc :)
