The military and police wing of the Gallente Union has now formed and is looking to recruit combat and non-combat pilots to bolster our ranks.
Duties will vary from simple enforcement of empire space bylaws (eg. Anti Strip Mining Program) to battle against pirate corperations (mostly NPC). There will also be a need for haulers and builders to help support fleet opperations.
There is no experience requirment for this position and training (and limited equipment) will be provided to rookies. As this will be a roleplaying corperation only Gallente and Minmatar pilots will be accepted initially. Caldari and Amarr pilots may be accepted in future, on a case to case basis.
As this is a newly founded wing of GU our current list of benefits is rather small. Currently we are offering cheap frigates to new recruits and favorable prices on goods from other GU member corperations. Note: This is in addition to protection while mining in higher risk systems.

How do you plan to enforce these rules? You cant just go around shooting all the macrominers mate.

Simple: We ask them to "please stop strip mining" this area, along with explaining why.
Edit: It seem the GU has decided that there will be no "ban" (yay  ) but rather just a program to ask people to "please stop being a jerk to the noobs". I still reserve the right to beat on 'em if they respond with vulgar language  .
Edit: What I would really like to do would be to help secure areas of space for noobs to mine in. Even noobs know that you don't get rich quickly off Veld.
Now if we could please return this thread to the purpose of recruitment.
