ok, so this has clearly been asked alot of times before but I can't find it anyplace.
Can any one either link me or tell me how I can get npc standing up if my current standing with that corp is negative and there are no available level 1 missions anyplace for any corp in that faction.
In this insance I've been doing gallente missions for god knows how long and I want to start doing caldari missions (don't ask why).
thank you for your time --
If there's no profit to be made you need to travel further afield.

Visit your nearest skillbook seller. Search in the "Social" section. And there you should find the skills required to get a better standing towards NPC corps.

you are -4.16 standing towards caldari...
you will need to use the social skills to bump that down below -2.0 even -1.99 is perfectly fine to start whoring for caldari...
if that -4.16 is modified by skills and its actually worse than -5.0 unmodified by skills youre shit out of luck.

Expecting that Lady Aja found this by looking you up in game, that would be your base standings.
Train Diplomacy IV, then you will be able to run a mission for a low quality level 1 agent. Once you have some base corp standings, Diplomacy will give you enough standings to run mission for low quality level 2 agents. work your way back up from there.

Or do missions for Amarr, that will also give you a (small) boost to your Caldari standing.
If your standings are too low to boost them even with skills.

Run missions in a fleet with someone else who has the standings to receive Calamari missions, but who's standing is not so high that they give little standings boost when they share. |

Ummm... yummy tasty Calamari
But back on topic: shared standings increases will help your corp and agents standings, thus allowing access to higher level agents, but will do nothing to boost faction standings, which in your case is the reason you cannot work for the agents directly.
As I said earlier, Diplomacy 4 is all that you need. The advice to run missions for an allied factions is more applicable to cases where base standings are lower: unless you would really prefer to spend months grinding missions instead of spending a few hours training Diplomacy. |

I'm getting near to the point where i'm going to be excluded from Gallente and Minmatar space forever.
Would continually failing storyline missions drag up my Gal/Min standings as well as pushing down Amarr/Cal standings?
