QFT. Why bothering with figures when you can compare e-peenometers...

Actually sub cap ship I think TCF's killboard has better ship values than Tri's (for sub cap T1 ships).
Yours charges way too much for T1 fleet ships, while the TCF one more accurately reflects the cost of losing say a battleship. The trouble of course with that sort of value is that you have to kill three battleships for each hac you lose just to get 50%.

Edited by: Deva Blackfire on 05/10/2008 10:04:20 Edited by: Deva Blackfire on 05/10/2008 10:04:04 I myself prefer to see non-insured prices of ships on boards - its much easier to calculate what both sides lost this way. If you play "but everyone insures" card you should also play "we held the field and got xyz isk back" etc - which is not possible. Thats why baseprice is best.
Oyea - im one of those guys who dont insure t1 ships (not even BS) - its just too troublesome :)

In all fairness to Tri they fly some of the most expensive ships in eve in daily combat, fitted with no cost spared, and they take them into a fight time and time again, have to hand it to them.
Big Gonads or fkin rich bstds tbh
Both, these are complementary and certainly not mutually exclusive. For PvP'ers, what sense would it make to play EvE whithout maximizing the effectiveness of their setups ?

Hehe, in some ways I agree, it just isn't possible to accurately guage how much was lost in a battle. Hell, how do you value the T2 salvage if you do hold the field against a Tri gang
I'm not really convinced that ship losses even matter that much, as long as they are spread out then the loss is really nothing much for a decent sized alliance anyway. Who in 0.0 cannot afford a few battleships a week anyway?
Disrupting isk activities for the normal player is what drives them to empire (safe L4's) from what I've seen, but how you measure that is also beyond me.

True and False at the same time.. Base values (with insurance pay out) are nice, but not everyone insures their ship, thus its a stupid way of calculating out battle prices.
Having real market prices to do the calculation out from is what is supposed to happen - not some kind of 'weeelll everyone insured their ship in this battle, so we didn't lose anything so we win har har!'
Not the crap that TCF is doing

Considering the title of this thread, I'm not convinced that it is the best place to discuss how the best killboards work. I forgot what the thread was called when saying that (had been reading ships and modules), otherwise I'd not have made that post.
Neither of you have changed the way that your killboards work to claim victory as far as I know, you just use differing values so are both winning on the measures that you use. The real measure of winning is are pilots joining gang anyway, so I'd not get too het up about it if I were you.
