If this event and the aftermath didn't prove that the vast majority of Eve players have a emotional and moral maturity of a bunch of 10 year olds, then I don't know what does. What should've happened after what happened to the mittani is an outcry from the playerbase that stuff like this never happens again in game or out of game, since as it has already been pointed out (by idiots who think it's actually a good excuse for his actions), "Oh yeah, like this is something new that's never been said in Eve before". This kind of behavior needs to stop completely. Go ahead and flame me, troll me, it really won't bother me, I just still can't believe the players of this game like to think so highly of themselves and wouldn't even bother to take the right course of action after this incident.

You sound very perturbed, I had read your topic for as briefly as I cared to and not a word more or less. Trully you couldn't have fathomed that I a troll would have read the entire thing, especially when there are so many topics about this, and yours is so new, and you cannot seem to stop with this petty thread amongst billions, truly you didn't believe this would change anything. Let's see, if I remember correctly basically a portion of the Community felt that the penalty imposed by CCP upon The Mittani was very lenient while Mittani & Company feel it's unwarranted. After years and years of these forums constantly being patrolled by Mittani's Company, a portion of the Community felt the need to repay them for all their past work. Granted it may seem like a lot of payback but actually a portion of the Community feels it's a small drop in a very large bucket when compared to the generous amounts the Company has bestowed upon the Community in the past. It probably would have died out pretty quickly except for the fact that some of the more loyal supporters of the Company decided to try and reason with the Community saying that no harm and no foul was ever committed and their Leader has suffered a great injustice. This of course fueled the flames of the Community which caused those loyal supporters of the Company to make some comments about future actions being taken against various other Characters who supposedly instigated this whole situation. Of course that added even more fuel resulting in a now impending 'burning of New Eden' with an unofficial WarDec by the Company against all Empire Citizens, due to happen in about a month. After a bit more patrolling by the Company, it seems most of the loyal supporters have decided to concentrate their efforts somewhere else. This has allowed the flames to die down a bit but whenever someone posts another thread about this situation, it causes another flare up. Obviously it's going to take a while for the flames to turn into smoldering embers and then eventually become cold ashes. However, as long as players keep poking and messing with it by posting threads about this situation (no offense intended), it'll probably remain hot for quite a while. Well, I think that about covers it. If I missed something or am remembering incorrectly, I'm sure someone will quickly add and or post the correct info.
