I have just been offered a mission to deliver some AIMED's to a station, however i cannot find the items i need anywhere on the market and they are not shown on sites like eve-central either. is this a bugged mission? if not does anyone know where i can get the items i need?

Read the Mission Details again. I'm pretty sure you have to go to a deadspace location, shoot up some baddies, one of which will drop the AIMEDs.

Mission briefing
Pick up the shipment of AIMEDs and deliver them to Nonni III - Moon 1 - Home Guard Assembly Plant. Keep in mind that pirates and other unsavory elements are always looking for AIMEDs since medical staff among them are virtually non-existent, so you should be prepared for interference of some kind. |

if its a courior mission it should specify a station where you have to go to collect the AIMED's and then transport them to the destination station.
If its a cosmos mission, you will most likely have to goto some cosmos site, locate and kill certain npc's that will drop the AIMED's in their wrecks.

With your limited info I can only guess its one of two corier missions. The first type will give you the aimeds in your hanger to put in yor ship after you accept the mission. Drop it in your ship and take it to the destination station. The second is a normal mission that should also list a pickup system where you will have to warp to a deadspace and get the aimeds from a marked can. As soon as you grab the stuff rats will appear and then you can warp away or kill them for the bounties. If its not showing that information then petition it.

Go to the deadspace location. You will fight mobs there who have stolen the goods you're looking for. Once you kill them, they'll drop it and you bring it back.

Umm...tried the pick-up location in mission info?

If this is the same mission, I've done it like 3 times and you have to go to a Sisters of EvE Med station in deadspace. Check your mission details and look a little closer for which system you need to be in. (For me it was always in the same system that I got the mission.)

I've just been stuck by this same problem - the 'pick up' location was an encounter in deadspace. Once I'd killed the mercs there, I had to activate the acceleration gate to get to a second encounter. The mercs there dropped what I was looking for.

Military experts are calling this a standard combat mission.
I can't help but think they make the descriptions intentionally vague.

If the missions doesn't say, "...obtain the "item" by any means necessary" then you have a location to go to. If there isn't two Systems listed in your missions details, then it's in the same System your in. Undock, right click is your friend. Then use the tools given to you to arrive at tne deadspace location. Carry on...

I tried this mission as well, but never got to the killing the mercenaries stage. There were between 3 and 4 pirates there that would all attack no matter which single one I fired on first. Do I need to wait a while for this or am I just doing it wrong?

Fly to the deadspace, pew pew zee piwates, collect cargo can dropped by one of the ships you kill(often the last ship) collect your AIMED's. job done.
Somewhere in this review he explains what most missions consist of =P
incase i forgot to mention it: you might have to go through an acceleration gate into the second stage of the mission. |

I've done this mission a few times. You will be given a location in deadspace to go to. It is, from my experience, always in the same system that you got the mission from.
Go to the location in deadspace. I can't remember how many rooms there are. If there are two, the final one has a big structure which is a clinic. As you approach, a bunch of pirates will show up. They have stolen the shipments of AIMEDS. Kill them all, one of them, usually the last one, will drop the AIMED.
