Hey everyone...
Any players in ireland? - so far we know of errr.. mmm.. 5? (as we're all friends :D )... but we're wondering if there are any other players in ireland.
p.s: I live in a small town, in a pretty remote location, i reckon we could take over the city for a week end :)))

Bakkah and Skinman of PIE are both from Northern Ireland.
Hupa the former leader of Forsaken Empire is Northern Irish too.
I am a Londoner though my mother hails from Leitrim and my father from Cavan

I am also from Ireland Dublin am going to try organise some type of Irish meet sometime in august, Pubs and drink will be involved over 18's only will get back with more info most lilkly in Dublin and starting in my fav bar Bruxcells on harry street.
Hopefully try convince some of the lads from accross that cesspool we call the Irish sea to come join us in the home of Guinness and U2.

I was going to go over to the gathering that Hardin arranged in London recently, but other things prevented my attendance there 
I live in Northern Ireland, but would certainly make the journey down to Dublin if something was arranged. Guinness and drunken Eve chat, nice!

There's a few irish ppl i more or less know from jarhedz.net/radox in one of the northern corps. They all play/work in the same cafe in dub.
Not a lot of the jarhedz guys playing tough, all busy with NS/DoD :(
btw. if you wanna do something in dub, i'd almost sure join ya :)

plus you can chat to me anytime in chan irish ingame.... gone are the days of its popularity with about 15-20 peeps at any one time but drop in and have a chat anytime anyway.
With regard to a night out.. how would u guys feel about a night in dublin? I know its a dump.. but we got to do it somewere

id say we should set it in cork, area 51 lan cafe with some of the most jaw dropping alienware pc's youll see, theres a few other lan cafes around but i know for deff area51 has eve online on the systems, theres a few clubs aswell some arnt bad  , and there is a few cinema's, well i thought i would try anyways, and every1 can crash in my house lol only messing with last part my parents would kill me

No idea this existed....I know, "gud one"....anyway, great to see the Irish contingent represented in this amazing universe that I spend waaayyyy too much time in....but ye know how it is.
It's beyond me how anyone who's ever been a gamer isn't into EVE big time. Biggest online game universe I know, but why isn't it the biggest game of all time? This game is at least a decade ahead of it's time. And if you play with mates using Skype it just takes on a whole new dimention.
I'm constantly humbled when playing this as to how advanced were the minds that created it. Aesthetically it's simply stunning, especially if you're running it on a high end machine with an un-contested broadband line, but while I remain in awe of that it's the sheer depth that constantly blows me away. I consider it a privilidge to be one of the founding players of this game.
I've introduced this game to four people and now we're all EVE junkies....I've taken the social lives of four people and, like a good ol' Nosferatu, I've sucked their life capacitors dry. Guilty as charged your honour. But what a way to hang with mates who've a common interest hey?!
Good to know you're here guys. I'm in Dublin so I'll keep my eyes peeled for the odd night out...be good to meet some more junkies....gud for de buzz man yeknow!

ok - how does a Dublin meet sound, first weekend in September?
By meet I mean anybody who fancies it meeting up on the fri,sat or sun night for a couple of scoops at a city centre pub, we can bang heads together and come up with a decent venue..
personally, I'd plump for the more Bohemian variety of venue, The Lord Edward par example, cos I'm just that sorta guy
any of our friends over the water fancy popping along too, sure why not - make a weekend out of it and see the sights of the durty ol' town! no silly leprechaun hat/beard combos will be permitted though

Hello everyone, I hail from Limerick and am quite well known there. In my spare time I am very busy not showering and smell like mushrooms. I am crap at eve and a total nubbin' however I am still a lot better then Gneeznow. I am scared of Velsharoon because he threatens me with death, but I have no fear, for I will shroom him to death if he steps y0. well to be fair 2 meets have been organised in Dublin in the last two years and both were attended by abvout 10-15 people even a person from sweden and 3 from the UK managed to make it but only 1 person from Ireland that was not in Asuya corp or C6 the council that organised it.
So really organising a event or meet is np but after trying twice and getting spammed by people saying they would come and only 15 turning up theres not much incentive to try do another.

Mpre ppl wanting meets in Ireland but rarely does anything happen.
Serenity Prime is hoping to organise A Corp Meet over a weekend in Belfast. Provisionaly the last weekend in February 2008. This allows ppl to book cheap flights. This week Im in Belfast hoping to get Hotel discounts for our members. We will be assembling on friday afternoon and departing on Sunday. So plenty of time for socialising.
Once the date is confirmed I will publish here. All Eve players will be welcomed. As this will prob turn out to be a mammouth (badger?) pub crawl long the Golden Mile, if you are under 18, sorry but try 2009 for the next one.

Tried to arrange a Meeet in Belfast for Serenity Prime Members plus any one else that wanted to attend for a few drinks.
Guess What??
Its cheaper for me to Fly to London for the weekend, stay in a nice hotel rather than get a bus from Bangor to Belfast (12 miles) and spend 2 nights in a Belfast Hotel.
So Serenity is looking for somewhere in GB Mainland to meet up.
Belfast is ok for a 1 day Meet if ppl live Locally or can be housed by Friends.

Irish, live in Dublin, been playing EVE for just over a year. Don't know of any other Irish players (corp members from Canada and USA). I mainly fly with a bunch of guys from the UK, in a corp called DASSIC. Must join the in-game channel 'irish' and would love to go to a player meet if anyone is interested.
