Not sure on exact dates or locations yet, so a lot of organising to do. Will you be coming? What do you wish to see or do there? I'm saving up for a 3 week break next year to see the 10th Anniversary and stay in Iceland for 1 week. Good luck for organising it though, I'll be watching with interest to see if we can get any ccp employee's to attend, CCP Soundwave may need some sun by then in fact time it for the Christmas expansion and you could be onto a winner. Best thing about the Gold coast is the choice of venue to hold it, but the contents going to be hard to sort out, we could just stream a live Alliance panel on eve TV and duke it out (just joking lol Look forward to seeing what numbers you get and what can be organised. The Mantra hotel chnage has 2 good venues one in caville ave is pretty good.

There's 20 pubs right there. In all seriousness though, QLD is a bloody long way from, well, everything. Sydney or Melbourne will make is easier (read cheaper) for a larger turnout to make the trip.

nGR RDNx Beta Crucis Endeavour. 5	Posted - 2012.03.31 13:35:00 - [64] - Quote As discussed on the Australian EVE-Online Show (on www.netgameradio.com) last Friday night, we are keen to organise an Australian event given we are a long way from Iceland and thus difficult for Aussies (and Kiwis) to attend the main event. I got great support for this idea from the CCP people I talked to at the recent Fanfest, however it is up to us in the Australian EVE community to actually make this happen. Our current idea would be to hold an event in Sydney later this year (i.e. November 2012), however this is subject change and/or the interest we get from the community. The format would be similar to EVE Fanfest (and EVE Vegas , http://www.evevegas2.com/), where we would have a number of sessions, and a social activity or two, over a weekend (i.e. Friday night through Sunday). If you would like to contribute (e.g. presenting something you think might be cool for the Aussie EVE community) or have some comments/suggestions, please get in touch, and/or listen into our Friday night show (starting one hour before Down Time) for more information. We are also in the process of setting up a website and/or mailing list to keep people informed, so watch this space. Cheers, RD

At the end of the day it is probably logistically easier to make it in either Sydney or Melbourne because of flights etc. especially if you're looking to attract some ccp attendees from afar.
