I learnt a lot in the mining thread here
However I wonder where can I buy elite mining drones? They only sold through escrow?

I m afraid that the only ones commonly available are basics atm. Best you might get are harvesters. Yes all sold in escrow if sold.

Not to mention that retards are trying to sell harvesters for 4 mil apice now. They are barly worth 2mil apice and even then it would take 3 hours of solid time using that drone to mine ark to make a return on your investment.
Most likely your looking at a few days of solid mining time before you make that 2 mil investment back. So 4mil is just a totally unrealistic price.

yeah. someone (dont remember who) sold em for 500k each, and he shared his sources. Apperantly Amarr "convoys" heading TO the station (in empire, somewhere) drops those drones. (harvS) :P

Thanks for info, but that would lower sec rating right?
Also if one attacks one of those convoys would concord/sentries attack?

Harvesters have been removed from convoys a long time ago.
You cannot get harvesters, unless you buy them from other players, who obtained them when you COULD get them.
As for the convoy question, no, concord won't attack you if you attack a concoy, HOWEVER, be sure you are out of sentry range (150km), because they WILL open fire on you.
Just be carefull, you loose faction and corpstanding with the corp that owns the convoy.
