Today I placed around 30 items on Escrow.
2 sets of items were assigned to specific characters, a bug has occured in that after I placed the 2nd set to a character, the rest all assigned themselves to the same character.
At the time the field to specify was blank for each and everyone of them. So now I have a load of items assigned to one person for 5 days. Of course since they are assigned I can't cancel them. The income from this sale is very important to mean. Would it be possible for you to remove them from Escrow. Or delete them and pay me the 28 million income.

You should file a petition listing each item/where the escrow was filed at/price etc.
It would get it done faster than here I would assume

I would do, but in their infinite wisdom they have removed the bug petition. The other petition you have to fill out a form (which took 3 attempts) and then they say they will email you a response. Oh but I forgot to mention the petition is only put through when you create a seperate account (not linked to eve) which I couldn't because my email is already on the database.
So I would have to setup another email, create another seperate account, and then fill out the bloody form another time. This game is causing way too much stress recently. I think I might cancel all my accounts and take a long break. They might even have the patch fixed when I come back.

Thx for the report, i will look into the issue and fix the bug if it is one. Please don't petition in this case. Afaik, escrows can't be removed easily. Wait until your items are back.

You know, I just found myself looking at a 2nd thread that you shut down and I'm just a little hot under the collar. If you would care to peruse the title of this forum it is:
Patch Review Please share your constructive comments regarding upcoming changes and fixes.
Here is an example of one thread shutdown by you:
"I don't see any point in the post. No bug report. And nothing mentioned that should be changed. It is simply whining. Btw, ever tried Teamspeak to organize people in EVE?
Thread closed.

Well the fact of the matter is the poster in question here did ask for a change. He wanted the patch rolled back. Now that may not have been something you liked or considered within the realm of possibility, but none the less you shut him down. Being a representative of CCP, you then added in a derogatory characterization by essentially calling the poster a whiner. This forum may be a good source for you to hunt for bug reports, but it sure shouldn't be within your powers to shut down threads for NOT reporting them. There's a sticky bug thread at the top of this forum that's obviously more within the scope of what you're looking for. I don't understand how anything outside of the bug thread should be of any major concern to you, unless improper or foul language is being used. You sure as heck shouldn't be abusing your authority with paying customers.
Have a nice day.

I found the problem in escrow mission. It will be fixed in one of the next test patches.
To the other comment: This forum is used for reporting bugs. Requesting a roll back is not a bug report. Nethertheless a patch roll back is never possible. Each patch has changes in data structure and protocols used. Therefore it is impossible to roll back. Maybe i am just tired of hearing very unspecific whining about bad patches. Why is it so hard for you to name the bugs that should be fixed? I gave the thread two full pages to produce a useful bugreport or comment. At some point i have to close threads to make room for real reports. I hope you understand my opinion.

Edited by: Helison on 23/06/2004 22:28:15 Grmbl, I sent a bugreport about this bug already at least 2 weeks ago, but it was appearantly ignored...
I think we need a better method of bugreporting! Too many bugreports are simply ignored!

Actually the forum description mentions nothing of reporting bugs, just constructive criticism of upcoming changes and fixes. Obviously one of its purposes is bug hunting but to say it's only for bugs is completely incorrect.
