Well not a change just really an amendment. When I was creating my character I had "caps lock" pressed and created my characters name as above. I never really bothered getting round to changing it but wanted to do so now only to find out that you are unable to ammend a characters name. Is there any way to do so that i am unaware of or am i stuck "shouting" my name?

like most games you aren't able to change your own name unless the company found it offensive and changed it for you. But than again I see all sorts of names out there like WitchBi_tch, DeezNutzz.

Ages, 4 months or so. I was told on the first day of playing by another character that I couldnt change it so I just left it as it was.
Anyways doesnt really matter I'll just leave it as it is.

i applied for a name change once and i got the reply "if we change your name then we'll have to change everyone who applies for a name change' name"
so i mentioned about TankUK and i got no reply to that

I would pay real cash to change my name! I created this account and character eight or so months ago just to see what the game was like. I stopped playing farily quickly. Now that I am back and really enjoying the game, I would love to change my name and my avatar. I just don't want to start a new character.

It is possible to have an avatar change now with real life cash.

Aye some name change service available would be great. Also a list of players who have their names changed published here in the webpage would help to track people too

$50 is steep. But I would pay $30 immediately for a chance to change my name and/or my appearance. Devs: contact me if this is possible. :)

You can change your appearence. Check out your account Management section. I don't think they should allow name changes, unless it's you know.. pretty obvious you weren't thinking when you chose your name. I've seen some...strange ones I'd let get changed if I were a dev. lol.

The description of options available under Account Services reads "Transfer a character, change the name or portrait of a character." So maybe there is a way to change your name. It is not at all apparent once you drill into those areas however. I sent an email to CCP to inquire about this. I'd like to change my name, but I could see how this could be abused. In any event, I really expect to be told no.

I'm very much in favor of name changes, just enter an a.k.a listing in their profiles.
If and when this comes do tell us before hand so that we can let everyone in, right now we're bouncing mad cappers and l33ts at the door.

Yeah, well you can sorta change your appearence, I tried to change mine a week and a half ago and all it did was change my pic on the forums and not in game...

one of my corp mate's got a name change but he was still fairly new player (less than 2 weeks at the time) and his original name realy did suck badly.
