I've been running missions for someone in another corp, he provides the missions and I complete them. Personal standing from him to that NPC corp is updated realtime. His corp standing updates every downtime, but here's the odd part;
If I check corp to NPC corp standing via one of the members in that corp it's not as high as when I check it via someone OUTSIDE the corp. It's difficult to see which one's the real one but my feeling says that the the one from within the corp is an 'old' update, MORESO than just the last downtime. Next DT that corp should have 8.0 standing (according to someone outside the corp), I'm wondering what will happen, if he can get jumpclones or not.

I found your post abit confusing, but if im understanding what your saying, in EVE as far as i know your corp has its own standings with each race/corporation, as an example if lots of people in your corp do missions for Caldari Navy, Caldari Navy will begin to like your corporation more.

Yes but the point is that right now the corp to NPC corp standing viewed from someone WITHIN that corp is lower than if viewed from someone outside it. From someone within the corp it's 6.02 and from if someone outside the corp looks it up it's 7.95

Right i see what you mean, sorry about that, prehaps one of those is viewing it with the effects of social skills on the standing and the other is seeing the standing without social skill effects taken into account, my only guess lol

Update:
According to someone outside the corp, corp standing towards NPC corp is 8.0+, according to a member of the corp it's still 6.02 BUT was able to make a jumpclone.

It has to do with the players cache for them to see the real value they can a)clear their cache or b)right click the standings of said npc corporation and choose "show compositions" it will display the correct value.

I deleted the cache and indeed it now shows up correctly. But uhm, isn't it a bit odd that you have to do that in the first place? I mean, it shouldn't be neccesary.
