Well my router works well though sometimes it disconects etc. Though I have a new problem my ipod touch, I want to be able to use all of the features that it boasts. Due to my father being a badly organised bastard he no longer has the PW for the router, so i cannot connect to the network. Its no problem for my computer because I dont use wireless but I have it connected with a cable, so no PW is needed.
Whats i'm wondering is how I can somehow bypass the PW. So anyone with experiance with routers could you please explain how or if you can change the PW to connect. Or perhaps would making the network public do the trick?
Just posting this now because customer service for my interweb company is closed atm. So any help would be apreciated.

Well, short of the knowledge of hacking the password, no. (I doupt you would be asking here if you knew how to) Contact your ISP, get your Username, Password, VPI/VCI/ Encaptulation etc settings.
Google your router type, find out the general password for your type of router. (often "admin" or "1234"
On the back of your router, there should be a "reset" button (usually need something pointy to pressi it"
Thet will bring your router to default factory settings. Then you just need to set it up again, with the info you get from your ISP.
Without knowing what type router it is, I cant give you much more info. Alltho Zyxel, Lynksys, Speedtouch routers usually prompt you with a Wizard to help you through it.

If it's netgear the default is usually Admin/pass or admin/password. On most routers, as the guy above said have a little reset button or hole in the back of them. __________________
