Dark Cross Industries
DK-CI will be opening shop and will kick off by offering freight services designed for your needs. Please contact me in game or join our public channel: DARK-CROSS
Haulage Service (High Sec only)
The first freighter service which DK-CI will be offering is the haulage package. This involves hiring myself and the freighter to carry your goods from a point to another. The following are the charges:
Charon Freighter
Cargo Space: 942,000m3
Collateral Available: 500M
Initial Pick up fee: 1M
Additional Pick up fees: 0.3M/station
Price per jump: 0.5M
Please do not put up a contract before contacting me in game to discuss the deal and confirm an agreement. There are several reasons for doing so; the most important one being to avoid you being disappointed should I be busy in RL when you wish to haul your cargo. So please, contact me.
Disclaimer: Due to restrictions in the courier contract system, no courier contract can contain more than 100 items, or be larger than 120,000 m3. You can use a General Freight Container if you have more than 100 items and/or want to keep your cargo secret.
Freighter-4-Rent Service
So, you might have the skill to fly a freighter but you are unwilling to tie up 850 - 900M in an asset which you might need, once or perhaps twice a month? DK-CI has the answer for you: for a small daily charge, you can rent off the freighter from DK-CI and return it back when you're done.
The in-game loan contract facility will be used as it is safe and provides security to both parties. This is how it works: I'll set up a loan contract according to the terms (price and duration) which we will agree upon via convo / eve mail in advance. When you accept the contract, you will have to pay both the price (total rent charge) and the collateral upfront, however, I will only receive the price (total rent); the collateral will be kept aside by the system. When you're done with the freighter, you will return the ship to the issuing station, put the ship in your personal hanger and complete the contract. At this point, you will receive your collateral back if you satisfy the terms of the contract (that is, having my ship in your personal hanger and conpleting contract within the time allowed).
We all have a RL outside Eve and if for one reason or another you will not be able to return the freighter exactly on time, I can assure you that I'm a reasonable person and will await to contact you to agree on delivery, within a reasonable time period of course. I will however not hesitate to claim the collateral should there other clients suffer damages due to you not returning the freighter on time, or should you still be unreachable 24 hours after the agreed deadline.
I currently have only one freighter (Charon) available, however if this service becomes popular with the Eve community, I will consider getting more freighters in my pool. Currently, the following freighter is for rent:
Freighter type: Charon
Collateral required: 950M
Rent: 10M / day
Pick up / Drop off: Jita*.
*A fee of 0.1M per jump will be charged should you wish to pick up / drop off the freighter in another system.
Notes:
1) The collateral has been intentionally set to about 80-100M above average market price of the freighter. The reason being that I am more interested in getting back the freighter rather than keeping your isk.
2) Please also make sure that you have the relevant Freighter skill trained to at least level I.
3) Due to limitations of the contract system, the pick up station and the delivery station have to be the same

500M isn't much collateral for a full freighter. Is that open to negotiation or is 500M a hard limit?

you're right - but 500M is what i afford to put aside for this purpose right now. I might be able to provide more, depending on the cash reserves I have at the time of reaching an agreement.

As the first customer of RT I wanted to offer some feedback for his service...
And thankfully it is all good news
I had a few 100 mil's worth of moon mins i needed shipped to jita and had seen this post, so thought I would give him a try. I had looked at the courier contract system, but decided it is a lot of hassle, so put my trust in Raging Taurus instead.
He is very polite and we got along well, my stuff was moved within a couple of hours, so I was more than happy ... Now I am not advising anyone to do this, but thought you should know that I decided against taking collateral from RT for the job, I just contracted the lot to him, and he passed it back to me when he got to the final destination. I obviously got all my stuff back, there was no theft or scamming and I am perfectly happy with the job done.
So, if you are an individual or corp looking for someone you can trust, I highly recommend RT and his services Great Job done RT, and thank you again!

it was certainly nice to meet you and doing business with you. I'm glad I was able to live up to your expectations!!
I must apologise to the EVE community for all the revisions i've making to my posts lately, however I very much take into account the feedback / criticism I am receiving from the eve community in order to improve my service in such a way to better serve the needs of the EVE Community itself.
I hope that the TRUST Scheme I have introduced helps overcoming the 'collateral' barrier as some pilots said that they might as well buy their own freighter. On the other hand, it is hard to give a 1B ship to someone you never met before, free of charge, however the significant 'reductions' to the collateral which returning customers would benefit from should make it much easier.
So who will be my first customer to rent the freighter?? :)

There are times when you really wish you can carry all you corp stuff, or a number of ships you have just manufactured to a trade hub, or those moon minerals you've been collecting for weeks, in one go....how many times have you thought that a freighter would save you so much time and effort! I bet you did think about that several times.
but it's when you are just about to press the 'buy' button, that you realise how much 850M - 900M really are; and than other thoughts come to mind....'am i really willing to pay 900M and keep it in the hanger' 'is 900M for a trip a month?'Let's face it - to get back the value of a 900M ship by using it twice a month will take SOME time. Wouldn't you rather keep that money and use it to make even more, or to keep it aside for those occasional and great good unexpected trade deals!?
Dk-CI provides the solution - for just a small fee you can RENT the freighter and use it at your own leisure. Furthermore, DK-CI values trust and intends rewarding trustworthy customers proactively. DK-CI rewards returning customers, who proved themselves trustworthy, by considering half of the rent paid to date as part of their collateral for the next rental!! that means that the more you rent from us, the less collateral you will be required to provide the next time you rent the ship...
and YES is the answer to the question you have just asked yourself!!  YES - We will provide you with a freighter for a collateral less than the market value  ...Become a loyal customer and you will have to provide NO COLLATERAL AT ALL ....YES 0 ISK as the minimum cap has now been removed. To compensate for this higher risk, we have slightly increased the daily rent to 15M (from 10M) - but i'm sure you do realise that 5M is 'mere change' compared to 900m!!
So start investing in your future now - keep the 900M in your wallet, rent the freighter from us now...prove yourself trustworthy, and you will be able to use it for no collateral - it's the equivalent of owning it whenever you need one.

One of the most amazing haulers I've ever had the privledge to meet. :-) Worked around the clock to meet my insanely high demands, several trips in and out of Jita just to please me. Was amazing in everyway, and I recomend him fully.

PROMOTION TIME....
I will be introducing a promition which will apply to all 1st time rental bookings until Sunday (1800 Eve time). To help you getting started, I will consider the rent paid by new comers as part of the overall collateral due. that is, the rent to be paid will be deducted from the 875M collateral required!!
Ex: rent out the freighter for 3 days, and the 45M rent will be deducted from 875M collateral - this means that you will only pay 830M in collateral. This promition is aimed to help kickstarting new customers as the reductions under the TRUST scheme will apply for returning customers.
So what are you waiting for - try this out and you will realise how easy and advantagous this offer is.

I certainly wish you all the best for your production line and look forward to help you out as best as I can. Thank you also for showing interest in my services.
I certainly intend expanding my renting services 'spatially' in the future however it could turn out to be costly if i had to provide all freighter types in all hubs of all regions :)
As per post, I am flexible on shifting freighters throughout the universe, especially for longer rental periods. So i suggest you speak to me whenever the need arises - you never know, I might have all freighter types in all regions by then anyway  (Dream on RT!)
