I bought a Twin turbo 300zx 95' Metallic Purple (Dark Plum color, sorta indescribable), Leather seats, brand new looking inside, same with exterior.
Boosting 14 psi, upgraded ECU. 300 HP Stock and 300 LBS of Torque.
I currently owned a 300zx N/A 95' Artic Pearl White that I got for graduation present. So I sold that, bought myself a Twin Turbo. A car that I have wanted for 4 years (since I was 15) Now I finally own one.
I am a street racer, been street racing for over a year now, 2 years of spectating. I street raced my N/A for about a year, its been fun but she is too slow for my taste.
Last week I took the Twin Turbo to the street races, and I tell ya, that **** is fast. I love it.
This Sunday, theres a Z32 (300zx - 350Z, pretty much all types of Z's) Rally and im going to attend. So this is just a teaser of what its going to be like, but a whole lot more Z's. The black 300zx Twin turbo in the video is just a idea of what im going to do to my car.
Teaser Video
I also have videos of me racing my 300zx N/A, going to start to make new ones of My Twin turbo 300zx. Ill post some pics of my new car when I get em. ---

Nice choice, the 300ZX is a solid car. The 350Z is a nice looking machine too, I'd love to get one of those some day.
I'm saving for a Pontiac Fiero right now, a Silver '88 Formula edition if I can find one. First thing I'll do is swap in a Chevy Small Block V8, either a 305 or 350. Should put out about 350 hp with just the new engine, pushing a 2900lb chassis. Can't wait for next summer =) The CRX I have now has been a nice little car, handles better than any fwd I've ever driven, but I need something with some more balls for next year ;)

Honda's are rice rockets. Nissan 300zx's Twin turbos are the fair lady Z's and are not considered a 'rice car' so no calling them that (its disrespectfull) ---

I love my Audi A3 .. but too bad it's only a 1.6liter engine. It has Audi S3 rims tho, makes it look much better :) Plus it can corner much faster.

Word to dat
I have a 281 cubic inch 32 valve engine in my car, I just use that horsepower to make lots of tire noise and make u turns easier, but I don't race anyone, at least not over 60 or 70 and always in a straight line. Don't get me wrong I used to have a GSX and I autocrossed that because that's way cooler than drag racing, I'm just not going to race someone on public roads in anything other than a striaght line and only up to about 70 or so. Nobody races me though, my car's a sleeper.
My friend had a 96 Twin Turbo 300Z, lots of power and all that, but the brakes on my old eclipse were way better. In fact my Lincoln brakes about as well as my friends old 300Z and my lincoln is only 20 horsepower shy of that 300Z.

Don't know jack about street races, but then again, if I wanna drive fast, I'll take the Autobahn. No speed limit
In america, uhm. I thought the allowed speeds there are quite low, are you guys going faster anyway, just curious

Fraid not, solid everywhere apart from the engine.
3 litre V6 is always going to be weak i'm afraid. why nissan didn't go straight six like the Supra I don't know. These engines like Mitsubishi's GTO are prone to *****ing the heads. Certiainly a v v fast car though, with enough potential under there to be a 1/4 mile beast. GL to you and hope you have loads and loads of fun.
Anyone else part of Nissan's oldish school speed fest?

OMG Tank!, dude!, whole new respect level for you.
Since we are on the subject :)... sif u can't tell by my name :P
I myself had a R33 Nissan Skyline GTST (1996 model)... RB25DET manual for all you yanks who are not sure about these cars :).. I imported this from Japan myself.
Mods included Front mount cooler, Endless Zeal Coilovers, Apexi SAFC II, full trust exhaust etc ... 160rwkw on stock boost.
I now have 2 Supra's... 1 is a 1988 GA70 with a 1G-GTE ... 2.0L Twin Turbo(jap import also) .. this car is pretty slow.
My other supra is a 1987 MA70 Supra , but has a 2.5L Twin Turbo 1JZ-GTE in it (engine conversion from POS 7M-GE crap heap) and has the R154 manual in it also :).
Sooooo much torque in the 1JZ-GTE ... definately faster than the Skyline.
Oh and im an Aussie too :).

Clearly, i don't know what i'm talking about other than what i've seen in movies... but i know that its much more expensive to get such a car and then mod it, over here in Holland.. Too bad.
