As I have the Eve Character monitor on my iPhone, I was thinking of the idea for the ability to change skills from your phone as this would help some people that are at work or on holiday, Either a 3G or iPhone so as to be fair to all,.
You can do most things by normal telephone or land line like Telephone banking with a touch tone key pad, so why not Eve.
What are your ideas on this as i cannot see the skill que idea coming into effect any time soon. Xynomorph Ind

i thik you should be online/present...enter new eden fully with you avatar...not changing skills only remotly. this would kill a bit of the idea of an online game and turn it in a "remote game" kind of a thing...

This idea excludes players who can't afford a cell phone or cell phone service provider that offers this option. I have an iTouch and i love the skill monitor, but its unfair to not let people do what you or I could do just because they/their parents can't afford a piece of electronical gadgetry.

Ok I understand your comments as for affordability for some of the Eve players in which you are right, And as for the skill changing idea i should have expanded it to WAP Phones as well, but I am not saying to spend the whole time of your gaming experince just skill changing by this form of idea, its to enable to change skill if your at work or on holiday or if a skill runs out and you cant get to a PC / Mac. VNC to your home machine from pretty much anything/anywhere. I KNOW I've seen somebody do it from their phone. And I did it with my not-EVE-capable laptop to change skills the other day.
Hey Look:
Anyway, that'll work.

And EVE excludes players who can't afford a PC and an Internet connection. It's no reason to not have a feature like this. Or should everyone also play with the slowest computer that runs EVE just barely, because not everyone can afford better? Heck, I'm a chronically broke student, and yet I have 3G phone and connection.
Also unless I'm completely mistaken, I recall there being talk about/plans on EVE software for mobile platforms by CCP, but can't remember much of the details, possibly something about skills and market and chats I think.

It would be nice, not only to have a skill change program, but one that could include chatting options, so u can be comunicating with your mates ingame, even tought u cannot be playing.
