It sucks incredibly bad, because of all those SPRs you don't even have cap to run invuln and mindlink, let alone use your blasters. _____________ I don't care what is nerfed, as long as it's not my "undock" button. |

stick autocannons on it - no cap use. cap will then run for 51 mins before running out.

Edited by: Hayman Wakefield on 08/10/2008 11:48:51 Above advice is correct switch to projectiles, quite a few people have started to use this set up for missioning that I know of, including myself. Personally prefer the PST Ishtar for a bit more speed and a full set of Ogre 2s but the shield link tips the balance in gangs.

I personally don't like NOSs and without a MWD or a AB you're not going to close in on the target fast enough to make it worth while most of the time. Instead think of a set up that will last for a long time (lv 4 missions take a while).

Hammerhead II x2 Ogre II x2
this is a VERY expensive set up and it's meant for tanking lv 4 missions. For more CAP I would replace a Shield power relay or two with a power diagnostic system. Blasters on a Myr is for PvP in my opinion. You need range to keep agro on you and away from drones - especially without a way to boost yourself within range.
Points here - Blasters and NOS good if you can quickly get within range, otherwise don't. Missions eat time, time eats cap - make sure you have cap to give you time. Most of your DPS will come from drones, don't worry much about your guns they'll be for getting agro in missions.
regardless, a passive shield tank Myr (focus on tank) will have a defense (Eve fitting tool) of around 600 to 1,000 depending on how you outfit it - making it better then active tank.
