Short question is.
Does ECM work on drones?
Long question is...
If i use a Multi Spectrum jammer on a drone boat.
Have it jammed up and I can see its not targetting me.
What happens with his drones? Can they just target me and go to town?
If theyre deployed before I jam?
What if i jam before deployed?
Should I be using a jammer on the boat, and a burst for the drones?
Many questions, if theres an ECM guide somewhere, much appreciated.

ECM drones work great. But shh dont tell anyone!
If you jam an ECM boat before they deploy their drones, your all good.
But if they get em in space before you jam and the player has his drone setup to engage any agressor, then get ready for some drone lovin!
ECM burst is an AOE weapon, just like the smart bomb. You hit anyone alse in empire with it, say bye bye.

drones are treated as seperate entities, so youd have to jam them seperately

To answer your questions,
1. If you jam a drone boat before it has locked you and set your drones on you, it cannot set the drones on you until it gets a lock
2. If however it has obtained a lock and gave attack command on drones they attack you even if you then jam the drone boat and keep attacking you.
3. Not sure on how ECM burst works on drones. Just test it with a friend in low sec (watch out when you ecm burst in high sec :)

Depends on if the drones are in active or passive mode. Also, if there is another party involved the drones can be told to assist the other party w/o lock if i recall correctly.
In short while the drones may not be directly instructed to target you it may still happen.

what is this drone active or passive modes? where in hell those can be set? i havent found...

In the Drone Settings. Click the little triangle in the same window you control your drones from
