To start out: Well we had a hostile gang come through out 0.0 space yesterday, not a big deal it happens all the time.
So i am finally able o get home from work and get online. So i hop in my raptor to go pick a few things up from empire, and there were 5 of the guys mining in the .5 entrance system to our 0.0. i didn't think much of it, until i started thinking about the good ol' C & P.....:)
So i pursued these innocent little carebear helpers of hostile enemies.
At first i played nice with the 2 hulks, 2 retrievers, and the 1 itty V.
I just stole as much veldspar as my raptor would hold...not much, so they wernt to worried about it.
After a few minutes i managed to flip a can out at everyone of there ships. And they were still grinding away at the rocks, So i got even more ballzier, i went to every can and swapped the contents of theirs into mine, thus popping there cans.
I finally get some life outta these zombies. One hulk deploys his drones and the itty 5 starts whaling at me with a single Neutron partial cannon..."o noes".But little did i know he also had a web..ha ha...he almost got me.
And i continued to attack the hulk, and at this time one of my fellow corp mates comes in with a crow, and starts hassling the itty V. The itty pulls from me and starts to attack him.
At this point i am getting bored with my crappy raptor with 1 standard launcher. So i have another corp mate warp to the other side of the out gate in a Cerberus. So i disengaged go jump into the Cerberus and by the time that i warp off and get back in there these guys started logging off....Mother F****'s.
I started having flash backs to all the flames about this on C & P.
So being the bigger man i eject from the Cerberus, warp back to our station and jump in my buzzard with recon probes....This outta teach that S.O.B.
"Log off on me i screamed and shook my fist at the sky":)
And whatta you know i found a hulk on scan, so i fleet warp us to him and jumped back in the Cerberus, O glorious day, i bet that carebear motherf***** was ****ed when he logged back on.
P.s. O yea and the itty V had 3 cargo optimizers.....lulz!

OMG I am so absolutely amazed by your uber scanning skills, and as for nearly getting taken out by an itty...
But yeah. Can flipping ftw, though I recommend trying it in t1 frigs. It makes the experience that bit more challenging, and you get some fun fights

U killed a non-combat ship with a HAC. Well done. Try to kill something that can defend itself next time.

Don't mind the jaded C&P fail posts. Sounds like it was good fun and there's a lot of satisfaction in nailing a logoffski loser. |

That isn't logoffski... That's just logging off with aggro, which is quite unlike logoffski. |

Granted, you had a good reaction in getting into your probeship to catch them before the aggression timer runs out, but that's about it skillwise. No real need to post about such an irrelevant event unless you enjoy being flamed.

No. He could just as easily have warped off to a station and docked. He was being stupid by logging off with aggro. Logoffski is done before getting aggroed and allows one to escape gate camps and other such situations. I think one of the problems with the whole logoffski thing is that lots of people dont even understand it.

Ever seen a ship jump thru a gate and log off? Ships will disappear while being shot at, before you can kill them in some cases. Very frustrating. |

Why does the killboard vallue the Hulk at 154 million?
It's been quite some time since Hulks where worth more than 90 million. Recently they where as low as 60 million.

It's a freighter pilots best friend. And apparently not an exploit.

Iirc Your ship stays in space for 15mins if you log off while aggroed ie yellow/redtimer.
But i'm I to understand if you logoff before you are aggroed you will warp away even if your ships is scrammed.
I always make sure no one is on my grid before i logoff even if i'm cloaked because i worry i will come back to a pod.
I take it a frieghter pilot warps off when aggroed because he belives it will take you longer than 15mins to kill him ?

Might be that he had cargo rigs.Sounds like the most likely explanation.
