These rails are actually worth using, with an alt with moderate skills, gallente cruiser 4 hybrid lvl 2 in a thorax I was ranging between 25 and 170 damage with these turrets with Uranium rounds. Thats and the rate of fire is really nice.
Would reccomend them if you haven't tried them!

I have tried them on my Celestis and my Vexor, and I like them very much, they are a very nice middleground between the 250's and the Dual 150's.
my Vexor (mission running ship) currently is set up with 2 200MM RG's, using Uranium, and 2 Dual 150mm's using Iridium, it puts me at a 20km range, which allows for my drones to have plenty of space to move as well.

I've used the 200 rails since they became available (via BPC, none on the market when i got em). had 4 fitted to my moa for about a week and i really like them. as im still quite new to eve i find the range/damage nearly on a par with a standard 250 rail and the tracking is better for them annoying little frigs. Great addition in my book

Yeah, I tried some, they werent too bad. One problem I have with them is they take zyrdine which is driving their price up a lot.

thats very true. the zydrine nearly put me off em. not being that deep into eve yet meant i had to buy it on the market which set me back about 150k  Not sure how many people are willing to do this tbh

5 x 200mm rails on the Thorax + 8 Ogres makes a real mess of anything I encounter :)
These are my favourite weapons now :)

Whats the range on the weapons like, i fight at range with my moa, and get some very good hits, consistently with my 250's at around 60km.. are the 200's good with ranged fighting, or more for up close?
