What temp do you like to keep you pod all the time?
I prefer 39.1 celsius with 92% humidity. ------------------------ "There was this bright flash of light - and now this egg shaped thing is on my screen - did I level up?" |

I prefer 82F for my pod, and I would expect a pod to be at 100% humidity all the time, you are in goo after all. I perfer a jelly-like viscosity.
For my enemies, I like them to have a nice, cool absolute zero. _______________________________________________ The Original Ultranoob 0.0 Carebear!!

Absolute zero would imply that all energy in the universe had been drained. And since mass requires energy to exist (they are one in the same thing after all, by Einstein's equation E=mc^2), that would also seem to imply that the universe would cease to exist when absolute zero was attained. A more likely temperature would be 2.725 K, the average temperature of deep space from Cosmic Background Radiation.

The temperature changes dynamically depending on the ideal body temperature best suited for any specific situation. It cools me down and heats me up as needed.
More importantly though, how do you flavor your pod liquid? Mine is cinnamon.

No, it means all the thermal energy in the thing you're measuring has been drained. Quote: And since mass requires energy to exist (they are one in the same thing after all, by Einstein's equation E=mc^2)...
They are not one in the same. Just because they can be converted between one another does not make them the same. By that argument, lead and gold are the same because they can be converted between one another.

This post reminds me of a discussion I had in the eve radio chat ingame about stuff I cant repeat here. Lets just say it involved your POD, the fact the pod is filled with GOO, a faction fit Aurora cyborg(inside the pod), the fact that piloting in eve is hands free do to mind control, and the Ocular inplant giving you access to live streaming videos you really shouldnt be messing with while in battle.
anyways if my pod were set with the current atmospheric conditions of my room it would kill you, a cool 60 degrees F. maybe 2% humidity. My pod ingame a warm 98.5 degrees F, 1000% humidity. We wont get into the chemistry of my PODs Ambio fluid.

Actually it needs to be cooler. The human body is itself a warm 98.5 degrees F, however even at rest the human body produces quite a lot of heat that it needs to get rid off and in a 98.5F degree fluid you'd get a heatstroke (in air the human body can handle 98.5 F or higher temperatures because of the mechanics involved in sweating, but when submerged in a fluid that would be impossible). It's said that the ideal temperature for a human without clothes is 72 F. When submerged in a liquid the heat exchange is most likely slightly higher so any pod liquid would probably hold a temperature between 72 and 85 Farenheit (or something like that). Otherwise you would either waste unnecessary amounts of energy keeping your body warm or suffer from an elevated inner body temperature. ______________________________________________ -My respect can not be won, only lost. Your right I am sure. I shoulda said 93.5 F, I was going for the isolation chamber Idea. Of course thats only 11 inches of water that you float ontop so i think to be fully submerged would need less boyency and less temperature to acheive the same effect as like you said you need to heat sink your body to keep a constent livible temperature.

WTH are you talking about?
I'm talking about changing one element into another. If you throw enough particles at an atom, part of it breaks off or combines with the particle that hit it and it becomes a different element, if only for a fraction of a second. So since lead and gold are both made of protons electrons and neutrons, they can hypothetically be changed into one another, but that doesn't mean that they're the same thing.
