Is anyone else extremely annoyed at how capacitor charge 800's take up 80 m3 of cargo space? I cant even fit enough for a full battle, let alone bring ammo. At the very least, I suggest cutting the space used in half. The heavy cap boosters are already sometimes a pain to fit on some setups, and generally they are used on close-range mwd setups, and those setups use lots of ammunition especially the autocannons, so cargo space is a very limiting factor.

Make them any smaller and it would completely stuff the game up....

Yeah make them smaller so everyone uses them and we have ships invincible for 4 to 5 minutes, yeah I'd like that.... NOT.

What Jo said.... if you want more boosters get some logistics worked out, 1 indy can carry a couple of hundred of 'em Mostly harmless |

100% agree... 4 in a heavy inj, and 5 in cargo is just rite... anymore and ppl would be using 2 heavy injectors and have them both switched to auto... cap would never be an issue.

only people who really need to use cap booster's are gallente ship's. amarr ships dont have that much of a cap problem. minmatar ship's barely use any cap. caldari ship's are missile boats and dont use much cap. scorpion can defend its self with EW.
dominix and megathron have it hard if they want to armor tank like everyone else. theres not much of a choice accept using cap booster's. maybe we are expected to never go on fleet battles into enemy teritory and are just suposed to be ship's for defending your alliances capital system. gallente ship's dont have the staying power the other race's ships do. no one is saying cap booster charges need to way next to nothing.
its all right for tomb balancing out turrets but what about staying power......

Gallente Ships do indeed need the boosters to have any staying power. However a close range Tempest or Typhoon also needs 'em cause it has its mwd and armor repairers, and with the mwd cutting up the capacitor total and using tons of it, only way you're going to last very long is with a capacitor booster. Close range ships' guns use lots of ammo, especially the autocannons, and with 4 spare cap boosters in cargo, you're only going to have 280 cargo left for ammo and missiles on a Tempest. I'm not sure about a Megathron or Dominix using blasters, but I'm sure its the same way. Thats a very limiting factor, is that you're going to have to run home for ammo after a couple fights if you dont have a whole indy devoted to your ship. I'm not saying cut their m3 to 10 or anything, I'd be happy if you cut it down to 60. That way they'd still use a large amount, but still allow some room for ammo.

indeed... I agree with that one... cut their size.. but not too much. and yes... short range setups use allot of ammo... but they are more for hit-n-run situations. -------------------
