Edited by: Matt Ivresse on 24/06/2004 08:23:07 Is anyone actually trying out the cathedral event missions in Amarr? I've been trying them out since it started Monday afternoon, and hardly anyone seems to know about them. What's even more surprising is that this event hasn't even been raised in the Events forum.
So far, I've been trying to halt the progress of the cathedral being moved by doing missions for Catiz Tash-Murkon. It's her cathedral now, not the emperor's, and if she wants to open it to the public, I'm all for it. Maybe I'm just being Gallente, but I'm all for allowing people to see cultural icons to find out about Amarr's history, instead of restricting them to a bunch of religious nuts. I'd also like to stick one up the Amarr Emperor myself, and this is one good way to go about it.
Course, the other reason being that for an Amarrian, Catiz is a bit tasty, isn't she? ---------------------------

Edited by: Elad Baan on 24/06/2004 19:39:39 The bricks of the cathedral are sacred bricks! Thou art not worthy enough, infidel, to dare thinking of touching them! Only the true Amarrians are... Okay, yeah, it's very much possible that only Amarr citizens can move the bricks, since they're sacred. On the other hand, everybody can intercept the convoys (and this is the first time I saw that many Minmatars in the middle of Amarr space! :) )

The Agents still give you important missions from time to time that aren't to do with the cathedral event to boost your standings. Just finish that one and then he'll continue giving you sacred brick missions.
It's only the standard missions that have been replaced by the cathedral event missions, the important ones are still in there. ---------------------

No Ivresse, you misunderstand. This was my FIRST mission for the Kor-Azor agents, and it was not an important one, just a bog standard Datasheet delivery.

Personally, if I was an Amarr, and I was of the religious kind, I'd find it more sacrilegious to take apart something of great religious significance and build it somewhere else, defiling both the relics and the bricks, than I would letting other people see the glorious majesty of the Amarr race (if I was Amarrian of course). What would Tal Romon have said if he saw something that showed his grandeur which that Amarr believe, being torn down and taken somewhere else?
Of course, that's if I was Amarrian. The main reason I'm doing this is because Catiz Tash-Murkon, for an Amarrian heir, is a bit of a tasty girl in my opinion... ---------------------------

I am ammarian and i have been moving bricks for over a week. The emperor, who carries authority given to him by god, wishes it and therefore it must be moved.
A true amarrian would understand this and be going to Kor Azor to do the emperor's bidding.

Well for starters, it's too late now for you to be involved, the event is over now.
Second, read the news announcement. It says in fact that pilots are to go to such-and-such a station in such-and-such a system and then talk to the agents there, depending on which mission you want to try out. ---------------------------

Actually, the way that it was described: 'The missions will become inactive after June 30th' basically states that the agents would stop giving the event missions once June 30th was over. If it said 'The missions will become inactive sometime after June 30th, then you'd probably be right', but they didn't.
I think you're just clutching at straws there with that remark. ---------------------

The event that took place last night was a major victory for our forces guarding the convoy--we recovered the bricks and destroyed a total of 4 enemy battleships. Although at one gate we lost the carrier and a geddon, the enemy lost 3 BS's.
Over all--the sacred bricks were secure and the enemy never got them.
