The Jovians have obviously decided to make us look as fools. Giving us access to technology we don't master to manufacture.
I have noticed that in the outer regions evil pirates have gained access to new technology. This technology is provided by the Jovians!
Jovians are supporting the pirates.
I urge all empires to immediately declare war on the treasures Jovians.
I know of one Jovian within Empire space .- TomB -. Make them suffer for their foolish act.

The jovians would do anything for knowledge.
Who knows more about EVE? the pirates who fly from one end to the other. Or the miners who never leave empire space? Empire space has been explored / charted. 0.0 space is still new, therefore has information the Jove want

i thought the Polaris system was right next to Jove space. Useful excuse for being so all powerful

I do not think it would be wise to declare war on the Jovians. Even with the combined forces of all 4 races...We'd have trouble even finding them.
Not that I'm a coward. But yea, we need to support these guys. All they want is knowledge, anyway. They're awesome! Kinda like the Ordos...

what the heck, we'd need some target practicing...
Bored of shooting rats and hauling components. Now THAT would be interesting.
It would bring amazing changes on the market and totally change the face of PvE.
New learning curves = more people brainstorming = leet new place to fly.
We should stop being the jove's playthings. They throw a few measly bpc's at us and we start killing each other for their leftovers. I say we pay them an intimate visit :}
It's time for a new king in this universe!
Oh, and get me another bottle of ouzo, this one run out

I wanna try one o' them Covert Ops frigs with cloaking against one of the Jovian cloaking ones.
Always hit the big red button whenever you get the chance.

hey dont put the jove's down, they gave us pods.
think about it, if we didnt have pods no doubt u lot, and i, would have been cloned thousands of times during our play.
Also knowledge is good, i see why they want it.
Just imagine if u knew every route to everywhere, you could get out of gate camping. Every ships specs off by heart, you could set up your ship without having to go through the market to look at the enemy ships specs.
Knowledge is all powerful, without knowledge eve wouldnt exist. think about it.

Actually, without the pod, you don't get cloned. When your pod is breached, it does a high speed scan of you brain (destroying it in the process) and transmits it to the cloning center, where a copy of your brain is created in your clones head. This is why you have all your memories up until the instance of death, not just the ones you had when your clone was bought.
Without the pod, you'd just die and stay dead.
Of course, anyone with the education to pilot a spaceship would know the basic mechanics of this process. It *IS* part of the freshman coursework.

Good point and i do know how to fly a spaceship, 1.1mil SP in spaceship command proves that. yeah it may not be amazing but its better than some peeps. |

The Jovians are our friends, or at least could become so if we would let them. The JQA have started on this road by accepting diplomatic relations with the Jovian Directorate, and I urge you all to follow this path as well. Through understanding and respect, we just might find peace...

I agree with Chris, the 3rd Front were honoured to recieve a visit from the Jovians and to be added to the Jovian Register of Sovereign Nation-States. We hope this is the start of a mutually beneficial relationship with the Jovians.

i remember when just one jovian showed up in jsut one battleship and took on 50+ people about a year ago of cource he was suposidly deranged and sick with some sorta jove disease but you want to take on an empire of these guys. let alone a single fleet. i can see the clonning stations going into over time and pend inssurance going bankrupt real fast heh.
honestly tho the jove event was fun as hell laggy as hell and all that other fun stuff. would be itnresting to see the joves go on a rampage again.
jsut make sure tomb gets to play as one, so atleast 20% of the participants get killed before they know whats going on ;)
