This is obviously not new news...
But it is still worth noting. Especially since Jita seems to have cleared up quite a bit. Where I run Lv 4's is still massively lagy. As is certain missions that seem to lag no matter what system I am running it in. (which seems strange to me)
I know this phenomena is well known. In fact, as well known as Jita's "blackhole-time-dialation" type lag was. But I do not know if it is on CCP's list of things to do.
Fixing Jita lag was an on going thing...and seems to have worked for the most part from what I have seen.
Any chance we may be able to run missions without the same "Jita-type" lag in the mission hubs in our characters lifetimes???

Frequently, the "best" agents are located in or near low sec, so going to these agents will frequently send you into low sec for your missions. Considering that you can only reject a mission once every 4 hours, people hug the mission hubs to avoid the risk of using an agent that sends them into low sec.

This...
Grinding missions for me is pretty boring, PVP is awesome........thus PVE is a means to an end. Taking a mission fit out into low sec is just stupid....
So yea....I was asking a reasonable question. Very few reasonable answers here. A few though and thx for the responses.

Not this....
Being that = hurd (oh wait spell check says its spelled as "herd" ) animals would be flocks and droves of faction fitted sheep moving to and from low sec just to give every wanna-be pvp'er a easy glimmer on there kill boards.
Im sure that sounds tasty from a PVP stand point solely. But is unrealistic to the extreme.
Fail....

Get out of the mission hubs, if they're too crowded
Plenty of high-quality hi-sec agents out there that are barely ever used. All you need to do is look for them.

Frequently ≠ always.
So far, I've found two 0.5 systems which hold L4Q18 combat agents (if you can survive the odd courier mission, there's at least two more) which have no chance in hell of sending you into low-sec (because the closest low-sec system is 3+ jumps away), both of which have less than half the customers of any of the "high-profile" systems.
It's just a matter of doing a bit of research rather than going for what's in front of your nose.

and here we have a flock or velators sitting in a belt, mining away, look how graceful they orbit the large veldspar asteroid for the isk for there family. Ooo a thorax has come into the belt as it approaches the slower of the velators and strikes the velators have adapted in a group formation to ensure the survival of the pack but the thorax has feasted for today and wont be back until tomorrow
