Silly people can make the biggest whines and get support from alot more silly people. (because I think about 80 % of the EVE players don't know what theyre talking about. ) so, miners, mission runners and 0.0 allaince BS-blobbers are not aloud to talk about nano's. Non-PVPrs should be allowed to talk about blobs. Pvp'ers should not be allowed to talk about the risk vs reward issue in missions. What i'm trying to say is that people talk about things of which they have no clue. And it's sad that CCP has to listen to their voices aswell. I know it can't be changed, but I hope CCP would consider this more (than they do, if they do) the next time they go out and nerf something. PS. when/if the nano-nerf comes I want to see the carrier nerf too. Because the small time PVP I love is being swallowed by 0.0 allainces and they're all so pretty lagfests. o7 cheesy

Because CCP hasn't really understood this community for a few years now, thats apparent from the development direction the game has taken. You miss the point that forum whines really only get listened to and acted upon when someone comes up with proper fact based arguements and sound, logical solutions so that others can see the reasoning. The big nerfs (such as nano-whinage and the now-dropped carrier nerf) only really get mooted when CCP (who also play the game) see something as 'must-have' and detracting from the varied nature of the game. It works both ways, they dropped the carrier nerf because of the outcry, they held off on the nano-nerf to consider options because of the outcry. Take your blinkers off when you whine next. The irony of you posting on the forums you're not happy about, with an ill thought out arguement based on personal opinion (no problem there) but no evidence, is strong.

People, even myself should be allowed to post, express theyre opinions. It just irritates me that people express theyre opinions vividly about things they know nothign about. There is some logic in only allowing "qualified" poasters to post in some aspects of the forums posts, just like im all for only letting people vote if they know a little about the politics in their country etc. But people should still be able to post thier opinions about matters. And ill give you a +1 fro going on threads and grading them duting DT.

Agreed, you're right But understand aswell that this post is more of an expression of my irritation towards silly people who post without knowledge of that what they are posting about. And as for the irony, I'll just call it an artistic irony, as I agree with you there aswell.

Unfortunately CCP cannot afford to only listen to a small subset of their subscription base.
