So I run missions like always... and from time to time they scan me and salvage...
I really really want to pop those frigates and podkill the owner! Can this be done? I'm willing to sacrifice @ 20mil to do it... plus the sec. status lost... I don't care  ... I just what that pod! (they can then hunt my 2Bil pimped ship and war dec. my n00b corp... those pods have to be mine  )
I have tried in a Thorax with 5 medium smartbombs... I didn't even get the frigate... I know, I'm a carebear n00b... I will practice and get it right next time...  ... but since the new changes, I lost the capacitor in less then a second 
That is why I wonder if is really possible to suicide a frigate and to also get the pod. If yes, can someone please tell me how?

geddon with 8 large bomb and a ab or mwd to get in range.

Just about any large smartbomb BS should do the trick. Be prepared to lose a crapload of sec status though.

Yah... but that is more then 20mil :)
... and how to do it right? just get close, start the smartbombs and wait for the kill mail? double stasis?! use cap boosters? |

no a insured t1 bs with smartbombs should be max 20m loss. tho a thrasher works if you are not in sentry range.

only issue with the Thrasher is you have to kill the frig plus pod before you get popped by concord.
the smartbomb BS will work garantied. web is a good idea to keep him there yes

Since you aren't sure how to do it or if you want to spend the isk on a BS just fit some smart bombs to your best mission ship and I'll let you practice on me

friend of mine went from 0.8 to -1.4 for ship and pod kill a couple days ago, but this was in a 0.4

this idea is not smart for the guy getting kill rights on you, id use em .... never no if he probs you out again and comes with his other ships and killing a missionruner in a mission is easily done with some cap drain and pew pew.

@ Shosoru: I know. I said it in the first post  ... they can hunt me after all they want! If I pod a guy in 0.9 for 2, 3 wreaks... imagine what I will TRY! to do if they scare my in my silly missions

@ Xavier Zedicus: first you get the frig., then you get the pod... I'm sure some of the friendly guys in here will teach you how to do it if you want

8 smarties. Cap booster charges. Dont worry with a web because you will be jammed within a few seconds. First volley will pop a frig no problem, second volley will pop a pod obviously. Count on getting 2 volleys off, possibly 3 if you load up with armor plates and junk.
That much advice is free. The rest of what I know cost me a few ships and a few sec status points. ;)

Destroyer with all turrets high with highest dps ammo, warp scram with rest of meds sensor boosters with scan res scripts, mag stabs in lows. All fully t1 stuff and you'll lose practically no iskies if you're insured. Suicide ganked a few miners with only 2 of these ships and even had time to get the pods, haven't tried it since the quicker concord response times but you should def pop the frig, just not sure about the pod. Give em hell

I also got an EvEMail from a very nice guy that suggested me to use an alt for this job. I think its a very good idea He can wait in station, in the suicide fitted BS... ready to roll (and no more kill rights, lol)
