Just wondered if anyone coud make suggestions to change my tempest setup for fleet battles.... so far i have:
Highs:
6x1400
2x malkuth siege
Med:
EM Sheild Hardener
Thermal Shield Hardener
Kenetic Sheild Hardener
Xl Clarity Ward
Tracking Computer 2 (warp dis when no scrammble support)
Low:
4xNamed power diags
1xNamed Reactor Control
1xFourire(sp??) tracking enhancer

You might want to experiment with 800's. They hit a lot better than 1400's in the 15-30km range and are easier to fit. Might not be your cup of tea, but worth trying.

You need to try the new cruise missile launcher...awesome on grid, and still loads 20 cruise. So no torps, so what. Leaves your low slots for tracking enhancers or gyro 2's or ballistic damage mods. In pvp I go with 5 1400's and 3 cruise missile launchers now, your mids look good, and the lows are much more open for wcs's and damage mods. Try it.
The 800's are also a good option for 'warp to frigate' close in pvp, where you do a lot of damage and can have tons of grid available, esp if you use the cruise launchers. With the 800's, you can use seige as the grid is there, and thus let you open up with torps at close range. But unless your target is jammed, it doesnt matter much as they are so damn slow! Good luck.

Just wondering if the Tracking Computer 2 in the mid slot and the Tracking Enhancer in the lo slot generate a penalty?

I am not really tight on fitting since i use the powerdiags more for the cap regen then anything else. The only thing i would like to get rid of is the reactor control mabey fitting one cruise would get rid of that for another powerdiag. I was using 6 power diags, however i found that the tracking enhancer helped my damage alot, and warp cores are useless in my case they nerf your setup. I have a nice setup with 800's, however for close range fighting i would rather use a different ship (raven or mega). And as to the penilty i havnt really done the calculations. It improves my tracking, however there might be a stacking penitly.
