Its already the second time I have to give up on a lv4 mission aganist Guristas cause I got perma jammed......sometimes seems impossible to do it, I got jammed 8 times in a row for near 3 minutes then I targeted a couple of those damn jammer cruisers, time to give couple of shoot and jammed again.....its irritating other then time consuming. It's ok to have jamming npcs, they're caldari after all, but hell permajammed its impossible to manage until you bring a friend

Hmmm...Just finished "The Assault" Level IV, and by cracky, I was jammed a lot! Seem to remember that Guristas do jam, and wot?? I'm being jammed!
No FoF's, so my tank better hold. Keep hitting "Ctrl" and retargetting. La,la,la,la.......Okay! now I've got lock!
F1,F2,F3,F4,F5,F6,F7! Oh! Now they're gone again! La,la,la,la,la Oh Now I've got lock! F1,F2,F3,F4,F5,F6,F7!

The annoying thing about NPC ECM is that there's no countermeasure to it. ECCM doesn't work at all. Maybe have a ECCM attempt to break a jam on you every cycle in addition to the sensor strength increase?

There's really someone that use FoF??
Btw yeah drones the only way, just too bad when you got permajammed 70+km away and you have to wait drones reach the jamming ships, if heavy will take ages (Pith Exterminator and another BS jam too, not only cruisers)

Drones! F.o.F. Missiles are to unpredictable to hit what you need them to hit. The most annoying ones are the Despoiler frigs, they jam the most actually. The larger the ship, the less you get jammed.
For soloing that is really all you can do. If you run with a partner then one of you should try and agro all the jammers and the other pops them first.

I just reject every single Guristas mission I get offered.
The loot and salvage is a joke, and we have to put up with that crap, too.

FoF's work reasonably well for when I'm damped to less than 10km's by Serps despite a sensor booster (great design there, CCP)... I don't see why jammers would be that much different.
Drones *can* work, but they also tend to aggro other spawns, end up splitting their damage or take forever to pop some npcs.
Basically, CCP needs to revisit NPC abilities as the current system is ******ed.
