Having standing based and/or Corp/Alliance only storefronts would greatly increase my enjoyment of this game ... being able to set 3 prices (public, corp, alliance), either as seperate items or 3 offers, for the items I can manufacture would make that part of the game a bit more "real" for me :)

This bothers me because nothing brought me more joy then moving a market alt to a place where the fleet was deployed and relisting everything in my opponents station.

Will this be something where we can designate certain corporations have access? It would be nice to be able to sell to allies at discounted prices for T2 and stuff without dumping everything on the market.
Overall a great idea.

Edited by: Ris Dnalor on 15/10/2008 05:54:38 Aye, let us set separate prices ( or refuse to sell all-together) based on good/fair/neutral/poor/bad/standings. That would be truly a useful tool for getting products out cheaply to allies as well as providing a good way to buy components form friendlies at a premium rate you would not want to extend to just everyone.
EDIT: hmmm I'm agreeing with a post by archbishop... this is disturbing indeed.

Very cool indeed! While I dream of the new features I'll continue to dream and re-iterate what some others have said. It would be wonderful to have the ability to modify the price of all items in your storefront based on the buyer's standing.
Either per item where you can set: BasePrice + (standing from -10 to +10) * ModifierPrice For example 10M base price and 100K ModifierPrice gives a price range from 9M to 11M.
Or for the entire storefront at once via a percentage so you get: BasePrice * (100 + PercentModifer * (standing from -10 to +10))% For example 10M base price and 1% Percernt Modifier gives a price range from 9M to 11M
This would really allow to do interesting things like give discounts to repeat customers, or gouge the enemy in times of war. Please please pretty please!

Is there going to be an easy way to set or update the price on multiple items easily? Such as a list view for all items in a category with an input box where you can update or change the price?
For example if I wanted to update my battleship prices weekly will I have to spend 2 hours individually going through every item and multiple screens each in order to update each store item, or can I just quickly go down a list and manually change the price and possibly sort by category.
Also is it possible to have a "suggested price" button which is linked to the mineral build cost and average market prices + a markup which you choose?
Finally I would also like to know if it would be possible to offer multiple price points based on alliance, corporation, or public orders.
Thanks! ---------------------------------------------- EvE Personality Test

Will this simply be a list of contracts that the corp has (and I assume uif you have certain corp privileges that you can create a "storefront" contract?) or will you be able to "design a webpage" for the storefront?
(Obviously webpages themselves in game would suck but can you use a structed type language to design a webfront, etc)

You gotta be able to have inter-corporation options for storefronts. Would be an awesome addition to a system which people have just been trying to get by with for a long time.

Having not tested this on SiSi I have a few questions.
For the purposes of this post, me = my corp.
How will my "customers" find my "store"? Do they have to browse the contracts window or is there some way to advertise my offers aboard a station?
Say I want to sell stacks of ammo in a mission hub for x isk. Also say my offer is in some way better than the ones on the market. How would my potential customers find that out and not just buy whatever is on the market instead?

List of useful additions to storefronts. 1. Be able to create sections within a store that are accessible according to the relationship a customer has with the corp running the store (ex. Alliance Only, Public, Corp Only, Above Set Standings...) 2. For inter corp stores be able to set some way that roles are taken into account (ex. You must be this role or this role in order to purchase this item) 3. An option to set different prices for items if it is not possible to break stores down into sections. 4. Or an option to set percentage discounts based on relationship to the corp running the store 5. Be able to set discounts on individual items (ex. Sale, Clearance...) 6. Have some visual customization to the storefronts (ex. Descriptions for store, run wild with ideas here) 7. Have there some way that informs would be customers and users of the classic market interface that your store exists and that you sell those items as well. (ex. Changes to market interface, in space billboards...) 8. Generally there has got to be something that gives the ability for a corp to add a personal touch and establish a relationship with customers in order to beat out the MARKET JUGGERNAUT

Awesome !!!
I have another question :
If i use storefront, and make a store, there will be the location of the store ? And could i open 2 or 3 store in different locations ?
That way it will be an option to buy stuff from a corporation in a certain constellation for example. Leading the way for a new concurency in solar systems, constellation and regions.
By the way, it will be appreciated to have an option to choose store by security system, it will be a good thing to check faster items in high security zone, without see all the low and 0.0 items.
Plz, detail all the options available, it's the most exciting news on market since i started eve !

Awesome, I remember that controlling who you do business with has long been matter of concern. Also echoing:

i think this is a very nice addition and will help industrialist like myself that have a large variety of bpo and t-2 items. It will help players that are looking for a way to buy from contracts without worrying about scams at least after they have seen i have no "navy ravens" for 200mill..... I would like to see a mineral and ore purchase feature as well included
