Pictures of secret complex: 1 2 3
Tucked inside an eerie nebula cloud, was the remains of an old minmitar station. There was two point-defense outposts stationed on either side, with a scouting outpost nestled in the front and a cluster of storage buildings in the back.
The entire complex was infested with angel pirates, although nothing bigger than cruisers. I came ill-equipped in my rifter, but a couple of my friends came along and we wiped them out. 
The spawn containers were filled with junk though, go figure. 
Coolest NPC ship I've ever seen, all the guns would pitch straight up 90 degrees and start blasting away at my frigate like crazy.

Those NPC angels are flying ships called Ixioms iirc
Always hit the big red button whenever you get the chance.

Hmmm I reconize that place..... that or there is more than 1 spot that looks like that.
Not entirely sure if the place I saw had 2 point defenses but it for sure had 1 and the same station type
=)

Those particular ships are very common if you do many kill missions for Minmatar. Angel's also have another cruiser that looks even cooler than that, kinda like a snake with six big ol' engines on the side.
That particular ship you mentioned looks like a baked potato.

Those ships are Angel Depredators, very low level cruisers (40k).
Their ships are wierd, not Angel design at all.
