in a .2 system not doing show info on some chaps, thus turning life from a happy caracal pilot to a podded one. odds went from 2 bs 1 caracal vs 1bs vs 2 bs to 3 bs vs caracal. please don't make me feel like the only vet that has done something stupid,

Dumbest and funniest mistake I have ever made was hitting my self with my own missiles.
MWD, interceptor, light missiles and a rat directly infront of me.
BTW that was when missiles damaged things that they hadn't been fired at so it hurt too.
edit: you always miss one speling mistake

Couple days ago this guy attacked me by a gate
he smartbombed the gate
and i watched him get owned by sentrys
then as he was trying to live i warp jammed him 
my dumbest mistake was flying to a .5 when i was drunk in my scorp

Running a pirate blockade in a rifter with MWD getting locked and webbed by a scorp that fire cruise... so i think to myself im gonna fire to 2 cruise missiles off.
Now this would have been a good idea except i forgot about agression stopping you gating...........also hat there was a HUGE stargate 3k from me so no missiles hit the scorp my rifter goes splat to a paradise cruise and run like heck with my pod lol

Not doing "show info" on an NPC in a 0.0 - until it was a bit late for that 
Assumed it was just a large cruiser with two smaller cruisers as escort. Well, surprise: 1.25 mio BS. That's why it wouldn't die after a few cruises. 
Oh, and "closing in for the kill" was the 2nd mistake during that enagement <lol>.

mine happend yester day.
I was giving someone in the corp his XL Clarity ward back. I escrowed it to him , named it XL Clarity ward, price 0.0 and name .... i forgot to type in his name.
So 20 sec later i had given this 15mil mod to someone.

getting revenge on some anus in a kestrel who was harrassing me... outside of a station in 0.3 space... i CTD'd once the sentries started firing. came back to a pod and a nice e-mail from the guy saying - "thanks for popping my kessie! your 3 rare 250mm guns and the other stuff on the ship just paid for my next 50 ships. most profit i've ever made blowing up."
his comment did make me laugh though, lol...
there is a fine, but dissasterous line between a fart and a shart. i suggest you make sure which side you want to be on... |

ok my story is this - Me flatliner, khaydin and frst was killing a apoc in a astroid belt, we fired lots of missiles at this apoc then he ejected. Well I was like OMFGSDFSDFSDFSDFDS so I ejected from my scorp and jumped into the apoc, the torps from my scrop then hit the apoc finishing it and insta podding me. Leaving Frst, khay and flat in a astroid belt with my scorp that was still mwd'ing away

My worst was jumping into luminare when we were camping the sentries in orvolle I was the sheild tank, and my sec status wat -2.2. needless to say i tanked concord and got out, and everyone made it out without the sentries killing anyone.

I was indying some nox to stain, I warped to a gate and saw Lallante was camping it. I managed to warp away, but I forgot to turn off autopilot, therefore warping back to the same gate, Doh. Lallante doesnt give you a second chance

I had just come out of pf-346(?) and so I decided to stay a while at the orville to pf gate to see if any pirates came to set up camp because my corp members were still like 9 jumps back in 0.0, anyway it did'nt take long for the pirates to set up camp so I decided to set a course for my home system, but i decided to check how far my corp mates were still away from pf-346 (using autopilot settings) and then I went to set off and jumped right back into the pirate camp in pf, luckily I made it away but it was still the most stupid thing I have done.

After getting locked at a gate, I wasn't paying attention as to the system I was in, I jammed the BS, only to catch the wrath of the sentries...I double clicked on a planet, and was proud that I made it out alive (barely) and was so ****ed at myself for not paying more attention. Wiping my sweat and saying "Phew!"....only to hear the sounds "Warp drive active..." freaking autopilot was taking me back to the sentries for another beating. Meanwhile, the guy that locked me, is ROFL....yes, a classic nublar experience

Was bored and drunk so I took out a new Scorp, which is not a BS I usually fly. Loaded up for ECW and went to A2. Picked a fight with a couple of frigs and a Blasterthon. Didnt even use my webber or my drones and wound up in a pod. Half time analysis showed that I should have at least taken the frigs and kept the Mega (my usual rig) from even touching me. So stupid drunkeness made me look like a total noob. The corp had big fun with this.

I did not do the following mistake but it is a good one and worth sharing.
Myself and about 15-20 mates/allies were mining deep 0.0 when four enemy alliance cruisers pop into the system (mind you this system only had one way in and out). Naturally the miners there were all in battleships and the enemy soon learned this wasn't a safe place with easy ganks and safespotted themselves.
A few minutes later one of the cruisers warps to the gate to check it out and gets owned immediately. When his can was checked for loot a bookmark to their safespot in the system was in there. I can only wonder at their surprise having several battleships drop on top of them out of nowhere at their safespot.
As for me I have too many mistakes to easily choose. Probably the time I asked a mate if attacking somone in a 0.4 system meant the station guns would shoot you, him saying "Dunno...give it a try", and me listening to him (I was a true newb at the time but still not one of my finer moments).

A couple of pp let lose their cannons on my ship. Me, I was on my way to dock at a station.
I thought to myself, what the heck and sent them a couple of missiles.
After that I saw my wonderful tempest go up in flames while the station didnĘt let me dock because I had done an aggressive act.
And No I had not the time to warp away, and Yes I should have known better.
Not a good day altogether

1.Well my first few days of eve i loaded a bestower with a mining laser and moved to a corp in Lour. I put a sheild booster on my indy and went to mine with a friend in a Moa.
Rats popd in and he ran so i jus sat there with laser and sheild on auto repeat. After 3 new Bestowers i startd to watch cap......
2. Second dumbest thing is hunting a 0.4 gate and locking a merlin and not moving after gate guns startd to shoot me. after 7mil worth of repair and burnmarks on my scorp i took some new lessons on gate humpin..theres no problem now
