Of course, I fitted the defacto Cormourant salvager for cleaning up missions, but sometimes you know, you just gotta hunt the belts for the good stuff.
So I grab a Condor, slap on a MWD, three Salvagers and go to town. I suppose I could have a missile on it as well to engage belt rats, but usually I can stay by the already-present wrecks long enough to salvage and move on.
"Zoom salvaging", I've dubbed it.
Now I'm sure you all know where this little tidbit leading to. Sooner or later, you're bound to get smacked in local about people claiming you're down with OPW - other people's wrecks.
Well guess what, salvaging doesn't trigger aggro, I'm not stealing from anyone. I leave the loot can as it is. If you want it so bad, why don't you salvage it already?
When the day comes that they make salvaging trigger aggro (I hope never!) then I may stop doing it. Until then, floating wrecks are no less fair game than when someone puts out a computer for garbage pickup.

please CCP boost Carebears so they have a chance to fight back against the ebil salvagers!!!! Please let this give us an aggro timer so they can shoot us to teach us a lesson!

Why would this be relevant at all? If you engage you'll probably just get owned so just get over it. When I did ninja salvaging I would always loot the expensive shit from wrecks (i.e. arbalest launchers) to provoke attacks anyway.
Would still be doing it tbh, but I kinda can't go to them mission hubs anymore :(
