Miners stare at their ship quite a lot, they might as well stare at something that looks cool, high tech and impressive. I'd love to see CCP's newer art style refinements applied to the Hulk model, which bluntly put looks like ****. |

Ehh. I mean I don't object to it, in the same sense that I wouldn't object to being handed a chocolate icecream cone, but I can't help but wonder if there could be better uses for the art department. |

I like the mining barge designs. The moving components and venting gases evoke a decidely industrial feel, which is the idea.

Hulk Redesign would be great.
At the manufacturing level.
Cheaper to build and fit:
- Torp/ Cruiser T2 fit, Rigged Raven
- Full T2 fit and rigged Damnation
Hulks and Mackinaw are the Monocles of ships in EVE. |

Mining Barges are one of the only visually coherent ship lines in EVE.

I agree that they should revamp mining mechanics but aesthetics should be CCP's least priority.

They should be more inline with the ORE Ships like the Primea/Noctis and Rorqual. (Orca is just a weird one0. as its ORE and DCM together if i am correct.)

All ships are getting visually redesigned last I heard.
This project is tritary however to all other art projects.
Required Art Assests (new ships new stuctures) are primary projects and always will be.
V3 Art Project is secondary but its making good pace may be completed for all ships by winter expansion and all objects by next winter.
The remodel project however seemed to shift from the most forgotten/dull out of place ships and moved twoards a systematic approach on frigates. This is likely probably becuase of the new launcher changes and some frigates dont handel that many slots that easily.
Some ships will only receive a face lift like the raven. Other will suffer a THD in its model and be spewed out as something entirely newish.
This means shuttles and even barges are likely to get looked at.

ok just v3 the hulk... but i would love to see my 5th subsytem set for tech III ships... make them indy based... that way i can have a buffer tengu that uses minning lazors... that would be more suicide gank proof... |

I like Amarr ships because there big, and slow, and armored, don't turn them into shuttles anymore !
Hulks are betters targets, for anything, anyone know that. |

The hulk has moving parts and it vents fire.. It is one of the coolest looking ships in the game. I wouldnt be against a new paint job but thier are far worst looking ships that need redone I.E all minmatar ships.
